    Wipe clean using a damp cloth and a mild cleaner.

    Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

    For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

  • Handle with care! A damaged edge or scratched surface can cause the glass to suddenly crack or break. Avoid bumps from the side - this is where the glass is most vulnerable.

Perfectly cute, fits my spaceIreneAs my 12-year old son and I started putting this together, I kept thinking, Huh, when are we going to hit the part the other reviewers had trouble with? We can do this ourselves! Things went fine until it was time to screw the top metal part using the precut holes into the legs. There was a tiny but stubborn piece of metal preventing one of the legs from going all the way down. My husband had to come chip it off for us. Once he did, we were great. Then I saw that flat piece of particle board that needed to be attached to the bottom of the drawer (STEP 9!!!), and all the other reviews made sense. IKEA gives you a choice of finishes: one side is flat black, the other has a very subtle dark wood grain look to it. I guess to preserve the finish (?) they didn’t pre-drill any holes. You have to screw INTO the particle board to secure it. Neither I nor my kid possess that kind of arm strength. Again, my husband had to rescue us. But once that part was over, we managed the rest.4

Eh. Randomly broken tempered glass…GabrielaThe desk has very small desk space. But it did serve its purpose. I will say that the glass did spontaneously break. There were no cracks or scratches but it broke while we were gone on vacation. Closed the blinds so the sun wouldn’t affect the glass, left home for 6 days and came back to the tempered glass shattered in our bedroom. Had to clean it up at midnight after getting home from the airport. Now we have a useless desk that we don’t know what to do with.2

Nice and SturdyRebeccaThis desk has a nice, sturdy frame. It looks beautiful put together. Not too hard to build. The only complication I came across building the desk was putting the little shelf on, and that was because I had to make my own hole for the screws.5

Makes a great plant stand behind my deskPenelopeI am using this as a plant stand. It is slim and so fits nicely between my desk and the window, giving plenty of space for plants while leaving my desk surface free. The glass can handle occasional water spills and wipes clean easily. I bought the product in its boxed and transported it several hours away before assembling, so I was concerned about the glass top arriving intact, but everything was packed quite well, and it was quick and easy to assemble.5
