LED Display Lights - VaxmyraRobertWas looking for something that would fit in a scaled diorama piece. Looks great and provides plenty of light5
Easy InstallGeorge49I bought 6 of these to install on my new Besta wall unit. I installed them on the top of 7 1/2 deep frames we bought. I drilled the hole to feed the wire through (as instructed). I feed all the excess wire through the hole. I used the enclosed wire cover to hide the wire and keep the nice and clean look. I used the double sided tape to hold the LED light to the top of the frame. I had to trim the wire cover to fit where I needed to place the light. I placed the double sided tape towards the front of the light head to provide the necessary support in the front since the wire cover supported the light in the back. (I think the other people who had issues did not think about the best placement of the tape to hold up the LED head. The lights have been up for a week now with no issues of them falling down.5
AZGingerThey look great and they installed easily - we opted to not screw them in and just used the sticky strips - did not stay on past 2 days. We have them up solid now but was a little frustrated3
Failure for glass shelvesLight failureI recently installed four of these lights in one of two Hausta cabinets I recently purchased. Three of the lights required the adhesive strips to attached to 3 of glass shelves. The glass was complete and well cleaned. The fourth is screwed to the upper cabinet and of course is still in place. The adhesive strips have failed in less than three days and have left the lights hanging. The adhesive has fails in three ways: 1) not adhering to the glass, 2) not adhering to the light, and the glue on the strip not adhering to the foam part of the strip. These are labeled “3M” strips and I would expect much better performance. Now what am I to do? Seems a waste and I have another cabinet that is waiting to be finished up with a second set of lights already installed but not glues on. The lights were nice looking before they fell off!1
