VAPPEBY Bluetooth speaker is easy to use and has a clear and powerful sound.
If you want stereo sound, you can buy two identical speakers.
The Spotify Tap playback function generates music based on your taste, if you want to listen to something else, just press the button again.
You can use the knob on the speaker to adjust the volume and play or pause the music.

Does not connect to Pixel 7 by default. I have to change Pixel 7 to disable Bluetooth LE audio to be able to connect to it.
I hope IKEA engineers can figure out what's wrong with Bluetooth LE connection - does the speaker advertise that it supports Bluetooth LE but it doesn't?
Teenage Engineering designed these with IKEADarrenYes TA did collab with ikea on these years ago… just as they did on the hard to find Frekvens speaker/sub/lights/spotlight configurable combo. I have the original ikea box that says teenage engineering on it.

Not A OB4 Knockoff but High Price Compared to Previous GenerationRickyI have no clue why someone said this is a OB4 knockoff when IKEA released this speaker in 2018 (called eneby gen1). Back then it was cheaper and had the fabric front cover included in the box. Sound is still solid but definitely hoping for a refresh. Deducting 2 stars for the price hikes and removal of cover.
Very nice sound quality for the priceLonnieIt’s hard to find a bluetooth speaker that’s meant to stay plugged in, after doing some research we decided to give Vappeby a try. Very happy with the results, great sound quality and looks good but doesn't stand out too much sitting on a shelf. We have 1 at home and I have 1 at my office.
OB-4 knockoffJoelBarring the design aesthetics stolen from teenage engineering’s OB-4, everything about this Bluetooth speaker is underwhelming, Plus, it auto launches Spotify which might be enjoyable for many, but for those without a Spotify account
(I use Apple Music) it’s just another step before using the speaker as you want.
Unreal value. Get a pair, impress your friends and family!EricThe plain two-way design caught my eye. Picked up one and then another in time for the holidays, and lo and behold brought to a mountain home for a few nights. Needed to watch a game streaming only on my phone, and connected my stereo pair of the Ikea speakers to the phone. Sounded light years better than the onboard speakers on the 80” TV. Was a crowd pleaser for the NYE party the next night. IKEA knocked it out of the park with this design. Wish speaker covers were more widely available, however.
