Product details

The outer cover is easy to remove and is machine washable at 140°F (Hot).

Your child can choose the comfort they prefer since the polyurethane foam has two different surfaces. The egg-shaped pattern has a medium-firm comfort, and the smooth side has a firmer comfort.

A fixed inner cover increases the fire safety of the mattress and makes it easy to put the outer cover back on after washing. It also prevents children from putting mattress contents in their mouth.

The zipper of this mattress has a little pocket where you can hide the pull tab from the hands of curious children.

Roll-packed - easy to take home.

Reviews

Not comfortableKristen P.Everything is great about this mattress, except it's horribly uncomfortable. And that's really all that counts. I had to sleep on it for a few nights, and I couldn't wait to get back to my own bed. I realize I need to sleep on my kids' beds before letting them do so!1

inexpensive thinner but comfy mattress for RVSALLYWe have used this product to piece together a queen bed dimension bed in our RV that has to come apart in pieces to lift up the bed for 2 big electric bikes underneath. it doesn't even need extra memory foam for increased comfort. Bargain!!!5

Great mattress.SamanGreat mattress.5
What is this supposed toKrystalWhat is this supposed to fit? It was recommended when I purchased the bunkbed, but I don’t understand why it was recommended for a bunkbed. It does not fit, this is more like a crib topper it’s not a full mattress.1
AwfulPARVINThe did not get fluffy and big so I decided to return them. I was told I will only get store credit since they are mattresses. Waste of money.1
Bad advertisementKaitlin T.The mattress is fine I suppose. It’s showed to go with the Kura kids bed but it is really small. It doesn’t fit at all. Super disappointed because now I have to drive 45min back to ikea to return it. This issue needs to be addressed on the website. What a pain and hassle to have to deal with.1
Does not fit Kura bedMichelle R.The packaging of the mattress was effective. “Unboxing” it was simple although on the IKEA website this mattress was curated to be an option for the kids Kura bed. It does not even remotely fit. I will be returning this mattress back to the store for this reason. This issue needs to be addressed on the IKEA website.4

UNDERLIG Foam mattress for junior bed, white, 27 1/2x63 "

Our take on cotton

We use cotton in many of our products, from sofas and cushions to bed linen and mattresses. It is a soft, durable, and renewable fiber that breathes and is good at absorbing moisture. All these great qualities make cotton one of our most important materials, but it isn’t without its challenges, much having to do with conventional farming methods that negatively impact the environment and poor working conditions for farmers. With our size and production volumes, we want to drive change in the cotton industry.

Working together to drive change

Each year, IKEA uses around 0.5 percent of all cotton grown around the world. This may not seem like a lot, but the number is big enough to drive change in the industry. For many years, we have been working with partners and stakeholders globally to transform conventional large-scale cotton farming and set social and environmental standards for cotton production. As an example, we helped set up the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) who runs the world’s largest cotton sustainability programme. BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future. Today, more than 110,000 farmers have adopted more sustainable farming practices within IKEA projects.

Ensuring compliance throughout the value chain

All IKEA products are produced in accordance with the IKEA IWAY Standard, our Supplier Code of Conduct. It sets out the minimum environmental and social standards expected from our suppliers, including compliance with local laws. We do not accept any form of forced labor, child labor or treatments in breach of our supply chain requirements. Our cotton teams across the globe ensure that all cotton used in IKEA products meets the demands of compliance in our supply chain. By having teams on the ground in areas where it has previously been challenging to work responsibly, we can challenge the traditional ways of working and improve the industry. If we discover that we are acting in places where we cannot ensure our requirements are being met, we follow-up on the ground and drive change.

Material

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

Quality

Soft and pleasant with good support

This 4" thick mattress has two different surfaces ‒ one egg-shaped side with medium-firm comfort and one smooth side which is firmer. The texture of the foam makes the mattress soft and well-ventilated, which provides good support and a comfortable sleeping environment for your child. The outer cover can be removed and machine washed at 140°F (Hot).
