ready to give upNadlieI have put together a lot of furniture in the past. none have been more frustrating than this one. sometimes the instructions need works instead of pictures especially when left vs right and top vs bottom will be crucial for future steps. and to make matters worse, a lot of the holes were drilled too shallow ( which caused me to strip a nail ) or completely missing. which would not be a huge deal by itself if you have a drill handy, but in combination with the other issues, it increased by frustration. I've NEVER spent so long trying to put together a piece of furniture. Now I understand why this dresser was on sale for $100 off3
Just okVeronicaWhile it’s nice to have something not mdf or particleboard, this isn’t a great product. It’s quite difficult to assemble, both because of the sparse instructions and because some of the fastening hardware doesn’t line up quite right. I wouldn’t recommend this product.3
Decent dresserLindsaySetup was somewhat confusing, because there’s only pictures. I purchased 3, and only 1 has a drawer that is difficult to close all the way. However I think that’s because I had difficulty screwing the screws all the way in.4
Just what we neededMarlaJust what I was looking for for my son’s first apartment at college. Full size but not huge, sturdy but easily movable by 2 people, neutral color and style.5
Simple but can give troubles...GeorgiosAs we were amazed by the quality of the bed in the same series, we purchase 2 of these. The wood quality is good - nice to be able to color it yourself to fit your space (we have not done it yet). Space in the drawers more than enough for a single person.
Only drawback, that some of the drawer drivers can be a big of a headache, as the screws holding them in place hit the drawer wheals. Also after a month there is a faint smell of glue.4
Enough spaceReginaldlove it, love it, love it5
Not impressedBriI was hopeful that this dresser would work last since it is made of solid wood. However, the hardware included for the dresser is so flimsy that the dresser is unusable. The holes that they include for installation are not predictable either, so screws don't screw all the way in and they get stripped. I'd recommend saving a few extra bucks and get your solid wood dresser elsewhere.2
Don't buy!!MadelineI absolutely love the look of this dresser, and I was so excited to buy it. Cut to two years later and the wood is so warped that the drawers no longer fit on the tracks and I literally cannot pull out a drawer. The bottom of each drawer also bows out like crazy, even if you don't overstuff it. Go with one of the other dressers from Ikea!2
Tarva furnitureANTONELLAIts simple and matches previously furniture bought at the store. Ikea is the store I like to go shopping because you find everything you need. Great place, their managers provide excellent customer service.5
Wanted extra drawer space inPattiWanted extra drawer space in our walk in closet without having to redo our current storage system. Was easy to assemble and perf rx cut for our needs. Love that is was made out of real wood.5

Built In in closet remodelJimUsed it as a built in when remodeling master closet, worked out great.5
More money spent trying to assembleJeanetteThe drawers were easy and all parts included but when it came down to putting the dresser together there was a lot of screws and locks that were missing and wooden pegs not included for the amount of holes and what was listed in the instructions . Time, money and gas spent going to the local hardware to get my dresser completed was approx $1001

Perfect for our sons roomCamillePerfect for our sons room and matches his Tarva twin bed as well.
We left it natural wood but like having the option to paint or stain it.5
Better than I expected. VerySheronBetter than I expected. Very sturdy and solid dresser. Was easy to put together. I also used wood glue when installing the pieces.5
Drawer bottoms are not secureJillThis dresser surely isn’t worth the price - my child’s shorts are apparently too heavy for the drawer and the bottom will not stay in place! This is because it has a very thin / flimsy piece of particle board as the bottom, which is only held in by the slimmest sliver of the edge. Even when the drawer is perfectly square, there is little room for error - but the wood on our drawers bowed ever so slightly as it aged, and the bottom just keeps popping out. It’s frustrating to have a piece of solid wood furniture that we hoped to keep for years that is rendered nearly useless and completely ruined by a small detail like this! Hoping to keep it going a bit longer by gluing it like crazy - but am not feeling optimistic! Buy something sturdier, friends. And please note this major design flaw, ikea! I am not the only one to report this frustrating circumstance. You can do better than this.2
