The speaker is a collaboration between IKEA and Sonos, so it easily integrates with other products from Sonos.

Use the speaker as a shelf by mounting it on the wall with SYMFONISK speaker bracket, sold separately.

SYMFONISK WiFi speaker allows you to stream music, radio, and podcasts from your network and streaming services.

Supports all of the major music streaming subscription services.

Hang the speaker on KUNGSFORS rail or rack by using the SYMFONISK speaker hooks, sold separately.

This speaker has a rich and vibrant sound that fills the entire room and allows you to create the right atmosphere at home.

You can control each speaker individually, so you can play music in one room while the children are listening to an audiobook in another one, or play the same sound throughout the home.

Compatible with Airplay 2 so you can stream audio directly from your Apple devices.

You can stream music, podcasts, and radio via WiFi without interruptions from phone calls or notifications. The music keeps playing even when your phone or tablet is not around.

If you want stereo sound, you can buy two identical speakers.

You can use two identical speakers as rear speakers for a Sonos home theatre system.

Compatible with Spotify Connect, which means you can stream music directly to the speaker from your Spotify app.

Set up should be much easier. Only made for Listening to music.Luis H.I am good at setting up my electronics but man this are hard to set up. Then once set up found out could not attach them to my TV in anyway. Also for a Sonos device they didn’t sound good.1

I have 1- Sonos Boost (discontinued) 2 - Sonos One (old version) 1 - Sonos M3 (discontinued), 2 - Symfonsik (soon to be 3 or 4). This is designed to be used in home and not travel with you. Wi-Fi is the BEST method to connect because there is no music interruption if your phone is out of range are a call comes in!! Who doesn't have Wi-Fi at home? The speaker works with Sonos app AND supports Apple Airplay. Which means you DO NOT have to use the Sonos app. Any music play on your iOS device can be cast to one or more Symfonisk speaker. I have found no issue with using the Sonos app over the last 8 or 9 years. Connecting these devices to the network is the simplest method of any smart home device. There are literally 2 steps. I have not use the system on Android this may be the reason for people issues. This is a 10/10 for price, sound quality, and compatibility.5
