Poor lightingMt1sThe light does not shine on your face, you look like a ghoul In the mirror. It casts odd light into the bathroom.2
love the lookSherrySuebought this for my 12 year old granddaughter to go over her vanity. she loves it.4
In love with this mirrortsyoutWhen I first saw it at the ikea store! I had to have it! This mirror is absolutely wonderful. Love the look and I can see my face my brightly without the light being in my eye! Good buy and would definitely by another one!! Installation took some time since the cord needs to be with a switch. Worth it.5
Hard to installMirror mirror on the wallI thought the product look nice. I just didn’t feel comfortable running wire to where I wanted it on the wall. I would’ve liked it a whole lot more if it a plug in1
Bright but installation isn"t greatchuexPros: design, bright, led, size Con: not plug in play, have to connect to wall wires or buy wires with outlet plug to use.4
Too complicatedNo1IKEAfanWAs excited when I saw the product at IKEA . Had been looking for mirror similar to this , round lighted. Ended up making 3 trips to PaloAlto IKEA from San Jose before finally getting mirror . Was disappointed when I got it home and found installation so complicated , this coming from someone who kinda enjoys putting together things I get from IKEA. Had to return . Wish product just came with a plug. Still love IKEA though3
Great vanity mirror!yayhwI didn't realize this was a hardwire mirror that needs to be installed directly into a wall. I considered returning the item but then I found out I can easily change it into a plug-in. I think I spent about $10-15 more by going to Lowes to pick up the stuff I needed. Once that part was done, it was easy peasy. Seriously, if I could do it, you can do it.4
NitzaI love the lighting! Perfect for my vanity5

It’s okBaddiereremusThe lighting is really good when I do makeup. But it just sucked when I opened it and had to put it together. It didn’t come with any switch or cords. I had to buy them seperately at Home Depot. I had to have someone help me who’s good at electrical stuff.3
Needs to be hard wiredScoutie80Needs some indication on the box that it needs to be hardwired to the electric and is not a plug in mirror or sell a version with a plug.3
Does not have to be installed into the wall wiringCsreaderI bought this without realizing it had to use the wall wiring. I am not a DIYer. Before I returned it I googled hacks and found a way to safely wire it to 3 prong electric plug. I think plugged that into a surge protector with a switch. I know have an easily removable lighted mirror with a plug in and switch.4
Looks amazingAndrew289It does have to be hard wired but that’s good because when I turn the bathroom lights on it automatically turns on with them. If you wanted to use for a vanity all you would have to do is cut and extension cord and connect the two wire with wire knots. Pretty easy.5
Thank you Home DepotLina26This mirror requires you to make a hole in the wall to connect all the wires and hang it correctly my daughter really wanted it so I went to home depot and they sold me a wall cable to connect it same colors and everything so it was so easy and it looks great I'm glad I didn't just return it.5
Mirrors used to be coated with lead, a toxic metal. IKEA was one of the first companies in the world to introduce lead-free coating. So you can rest assured knowing that all our mirrors are 100% lead-free. By the way, you look great today.
