NOLHAGA is a durable cover made of a thicker cotton and polyester fabric with fine details such as a two-toned effect.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and can be machine washed.

The turned legs are made of solid beech.

Storage bench!LizThe covers weren’t fun to put on, but practical, in a world with dogs. They look tailored and like upholstery, once on snugly. I needed the storage, but wanted the bench to be lower than my bed, to give small dogs a shorter leap to the bed. I’ll be getting a different, shorter set of legs from Ikea to fix that. But these are my issues, the bench is perfect for storing an extra blanket, pillow, and extra sheets. Note, does not fit in the backseat of a car.5

Nice Bench!JMK130I bought this bench in 2018 and am still happy with this purchase. I love the storage for extra bedding and keep it at the end of my bed. The fabric is held on by velcro which I didn't love at first but have had no issues with it.5
A little pricey, but great utilityKhansThe bench works very well and is easy to close/open without fear of slamming it shut by accident. The blue is a great color and works well as a statement piece in my living room which is primarily neutral/beige. Easy enough to assemble but the cover was a bear to get on for some reason.4
Larger than I thought, but very niceSusanSI purchased this to use as a coffee table/ottoman. It is a lot bigger than I imagined, and relatively heavy, but that is good because it won’t tip over when I use it as a foot rest. Arrives full assembled except the legs. I took off one star because the bottom half of the cover really needs a closure so that you could wrap it around the base instead of removing the top and tugging it on. Also, the cover I got looks a bit like it’s about to rip in the corner you are supposed to pull down first. All in all, a good, sturdy bench that will eliminate coffee table clutter when I put my five remotes inside!4

Today at IKEA we use more and more recycled cotton and strive to make sure that all the new cotton we use has been grown and produced with less and less amounts of pesticides, fertilizers and water.
