I love this Shoe storageisabelI love this Shoe storage cabinet, your shoes are stored neatly and out of the way. You are also able to use more of tge closet space available.5
It’s not white; shoes slide around; booties get squishedMeni T.I waited for weeks for this and I’m very disappointed: 1. Why list it as white? It’s off-white and I needed it to be white. My house has many IKEA pieces. White has always been white. 2. No bolts or screws to attach the piece to the wall and the holes are huge. Not sure how I will be able to find the right pieces to attach it on the wall and the unit is currently leaning against the wall 3. The top of all my booties will get ruined because there is too much room unless you're a size 14 and the design makes the shoes lean forward and squish the boot once you shut the door Super frustrated that I have to accept the color being wrong and also try to find a workaround for my shoes to fit properly and not get ruined, or return the unit altogether.1
Love itJOVANAEasy to assemble, looks good and does not take a lot If space5
Missing wall bolts & instructions & doesnt fit over baseboardsKathleen A.Arrragh! No, it is not National Pirate Day. This reflects our incredible frustration with this piece. Yes, it looks pretty good and promises functionality, BUT it came with NO wall bolts for attaching this to the wall...and with only two legs in earthquake-prone Calif, attaching to the wall is essential . Hell, it is essential anywhere in the world for a piece that only has two legs! We previously bought 2-legged the Stall bathroom cabinet and it had the attacher bolts--why are they now skimping on this? Also, for families with taller baseboards (anything taller than a couple inches--this will NOT fit snug against the wall. So you are stuck mounting it to the wall eaning which means the top shelf is uneven. In addition, unlike the bathroom Stall piece we bought previously, this piece is made out of classic particle board, not the newer better kind and it has really flimsy plastic attacher pieces, as someone else mentioned. A big disappointment...1

ReviewDavid1886Thank you very much for the show cabinet.5
Well made shoe rack for all types shoesTealtman61I assembled this in under 40 minutes it’s well made and mounts to the wall! It has to be mounted to a surface!! Great piece of show storage too!5
GoodZachariaI bought this a month ago. While I’m happy with its usefulness, I must say there’s wastage space in each drawer’s height- at least 3inches each. Thus they could’ve reduced the overall height, which is too much, by 9 inches.3
Love it!panmuffinWe recently downsized and needed something to store lots of shoes that hid them out of sight. This was exactly what I was looking for. This fits perfectly in my closet to store all of our shoes. Pretty simple to put together and looks great.5
SHOES!!!!!LauraFrizWhat a space saver!!!! I absolutely love this!!!!!!5
less space, tidy and every useful and organizeRATTANi am happy with the product5
Best way I’ve come across for organizing shoes!OrganizingnerdI’ve seen IKEA shoe cabinets before and thought, how many shoes can that really hold? They seemed so low profile they couldn’t possible hold very many shoes. We decided to give it a try and boy was I pleasantly surprised! This may be my new favorite IKEA product! It holds pretty much all of our shoes and keeps them stored neatly and out of sight. Definitely much better than racks where shoes get thrown on and the mess is out in the open. And the best part, my 5 and 2 year old love putting their shoes in it! Great buy and totally worth the money. Only complaint is that it was a pain to put together.5
Love itKathyannI finally hanger my shoes organized. I love it !!! Easy to put together per the hushed. I can fit 12 pairs of sandles in the top part.5
Great for small closetsBrclemmI bought this just a few weeks ago to get rid of all the shoes that are thrown in our entry closet....I could never shut the door! Now the kids are even putting their shoes up! Yeah!5
So stylish!BwanSo much room for shoes and wonderful piece of furniture! Looks really stylish!5

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA, we believe that sourced in responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill waste – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a valuable resource instead of being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look. The day your sofa or bed needs replacing, the material in the particleboard can be recycled into something entirely new.

Room for more shoes in the hall

STÄLL shoe cabinet has three deep compartments, each with room for two rows of shoes. This means that you can hide away at least eighteen pairs of shoes in them - and get a neat and tidy hall in the bargain. The compartments also fold down, so you can find the shoes you need quickly and easily.
