Nice bed, bent frameRachelThe bed itself was nice and I really wanted it to work. Bought for my sons bedroom. The middle crossbar was slightly bent upon opening and no amount of muscles or swear words were able to get that bar to attach. So the bed was returned. However, if the bar fit, we definitely would have kept it!3

Looks great, but assembly was terrible.Malik1996We recently bought this bed frame and I will say that it is a nice bed frame. I love the way it looks, it is comfortable, and we don’t experience any squeaking like previous reviews had said. With that being said... The thing that bothered me was the assembly. The directions were very minimal. I had another person thankfully and it still took us about 2 and a half to 3 hours to complete. And the major thing was that the holes didn’t not match up on the side upholstery pieces. We made it work because we noticed if you flipped it upside down the middles holes would fit and it would rest on the stand, but we could not fasten the support screws because the holes didn’t match up. It sucks because I don’t want to have the black showing on top because it takes away the illusion, but you have to do what you have to do. Other than that mishap or overlook, the bed itself is great but the directions and execution of the hole placement needs work.4

Total pain in the butt to put togetherNYaptgalI thought I was getting something simple, but this was one of the most difficult things to put together, and I’ve done a lot. Ok, dressers take a while because of the drawers, but you just plod along doing it. I’m patient. This had so many pieces and screws, and the screws do not have standard indentations, so I could not use my drill/electric screw driver, all had to be done by hand with their little Allen wrench. Lining up the upholstered sidings was a comedy of frustrations and the fabric getting in the way. I didn’t care about them for the look, so hoped to leave them off, but they have to be put on to hold the slats in place. Ok, it’s a good deal, once it’s together it looks simple and it works fine, so far, but the headache of it. And living in a NY apartment I worry the upholstery, especially the flimsy loose covering on the back with space in there is a haven for bedbugs. Sigh. It’s together now but just wanted to warn people.2
amazingSaramachThe reviews made me a bit worried, but buy it! Yes it was a bit hard to put it together but I was doing it solo. Yes putting it together sucked because things weren't lining up on the sides at first but with multiple tries and pounding it in there it worked. It was sooo worth it! The height is great especially because i have a thick mattress. It make NO NOISE! With two big adults this has held up like it was brand new!! Worth your $$'s5
