Perfect desk!mrsmaqualThis desk is a great option for anyone who likes to stand while working. The assembly was pretty easy. Raising and lowering the desk is a breeze.5
it’s perfect and clean lookiJeffI got it recently, using it for my work since I’m working from home and use it for personal use such as gaming and drawing, have to clean it often but it’s very nice5
Useful and comfortable!TexasDoriI bought this a couple weeks ago to use in my craft room. I like to stand and work but with this desk, if I want to sit, I simply crank it to the level most comfortable for my height. There is an electric style available, but I chose the hand crank because it provides a small amount of exercise and if there is a power outage, my adjustable height desk is still usable!4
Perfectlwb2Bought to provide flexibility- stand when work from home; sit when crafting/sewing. Easy to adjust!5
Perfect Table (Needs Anti-Fatigue Foot Mat)techiegThis is the perfect table for anyone that wants to be able to switch between standing and sitting for extended periods. I just wished IKEA also sold anti-fatigue comfort foot mats too. Having to use my yoga mat momentarily for my home office/study.5
good. but not as expected.kass123451992the table is definitely not beige. looks more gray. and it does not go good with the tan trim.3
Just What I NeededSwissms19This is exactly what I needed for my arts and crafts room. I can sit to sew and stand to do other things. I am thinking of buying one for my classroom!!!!5
Great WFH deskMissgingerI’m working from home now and missed my stand up desk from the office. This desk was a little bit challenging to put together and the legs are quite heavy, but once it’s all together it’s pretty easy to crank up or down. Love the sleek white look and it’s plenty big enough for dual monitors.5
Sturdy Table and Frameteresa223I purchased this table last week and the assembly was super easy. The frame is strong and durable. One big con is that the table surface scratches VERY EASILY. I only use my laptop on my desk and it hasn't been more than a week and there are visible chips on the table surface.3
Great Value and Decent Constructionegret3This is a great sit stand desk for anyone who doesn't want something motorized. The frame is surprisingly sturdy feeling, the tabletop is where this product lacks in quality, but you could easily change for a better tabletop.5
Don"t like the Beige TopkatielilyJust bought this and assembled it today. I think its a great option for the price. It was hard to tell what color the beige would be from the photos but it is a grey/taupe plastic look on the top. I liked the ply-wood look of the sides in the photos, but that's nothing of what the top looks like. Wish I got the white. I might replace the top with a solid piece of wood in the future? Also, the smaller size is pretty small, just big enough for my two screens. The measurements of the larger one seemed too wide.4
Easy to adjust!YvonnekgI found the desk easy to put together and I live how easily it changes heights. So glad I got this desk.5
SKARSTA Desk sit/stand, white, 47 1/4x27 1/2 "

Gray and beige are sometimes accused of being dull colors. Not to us. We think they’re timeless nuances that fit many homes and offices. And did you know they are colors that are kind to your eyes? At least if you spend many and long hours on the computer.  Read More
“When we develop work furniture, we always involve ergonomic experts. One challenge we’ve had is to figure out what color of desk is best if you work a lot on the computer. Especially if you also have to peek at your phone several times per hour – a reality I think many of us recognize”, says Anthony Rotman, Product Developer.

Look out for your friends

When the eyes shift focus from the computer screen to the phone and then back to the computer again, they have to adapt to different backgrounds and contrasts. One way to get around the problem is to have a desk in a neutral tone. “There’s no absolute answer to which color is best; it depends on what you prefer and what type of work you do. But, if you often experience that your eyes become tired and already have tried with an extra cup of coffee, there’s a good chance that a work desk in more muted colors can help”, tips Anthony.

Squint less for less headache

There are other details that can make the workday a little easier. A low-gloss surface can for example help to reduce glare. “Just like contrasts, glare can be straining to the eyes. It makes us squint, and when we do that for a long time, it’s not uncommon that a headache comes knocking”, says Anthony. From an evolutionary perspective, our bodies haven’t had the time to adjust to long hours with different digital screens. “The good news is that small, thought-out details that don’t cost a fortune, can make a huge difference in our daily work – and improve our health and well-being in the long run.”
