Designed changed - very uncomfortable nowKirsten B.We bought a RENBERGET in 2019 for my husband's office. it was $49 at that time. It has been a great, comfortable work chair for 4 years! Since I have a bad back, I kept borrowing it from my husband, so I decided to order one for myself. After putting the new one together I was very excited to try it out.....but when I sat down, it felt like I a squashed pizza box.....or in an incredibly uncomfortable hard airplane seat that pitches you forward!!! The design has completely changed. The 2023 RENBERGET is a MUCH CHEAPER VERSION of the older one, but twice the price. I want to return it, but apparently I will be charged $$$ for the pick-up. (it was delivered and I live too far from an IKEA store to bring it back in person). DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE ANY BACK or NECK PAIN WHATSOEVER.1

Great chair for meSAMANTHAI’m what at you might call a “small adult”. Many office chairs are too big to work for me ergonomically, but this chair is perfect. It’s the right size with great comfort.5

Wheels definitely need improvement andFREDERICKWheels definitely need improvement and redesign. Had to buy replacement wheels for it to roll smoothly.3
No lumbar supportMarieIn the video of this chair it looked more flexible. It does not have lumbar support and is uncomfortable. I am sorry I bought it.2
Awesome Office ChairShellyComfy and reasonable (cost). Love it.5
Doesn't reclineCynthia H.I thought I was purchasing a similar chair that I bought several years ago at Ikea, but this chair doesn't recline. And it's kind of cheaply made. You can find a better chair at your local office supply store.1
Great chair. Great value.PATGreat chair. Great value.5
Solid chair with lackluster wheelsMICHAELThe chair is pretty comfortable. Perfect for my 6 year old. The only down side is the wheels are bad, they just don't roll. Three of the 5 wheel sets are just so tight they don't rotate. I'll probably replace the wheels, but that cuts the value down.3
Just the right size.TERESAJust the right size.5

Functional and easy to MOVETimSo, I have been without a functional office chair for about a year now. My last chair, I had to leave behind as a part of a long distance move. This chair is great for moving apartments - the legs are not welded on, which makes disassembling entirely possible, and the contents can go back into seat back. For those with limited car space and a multi hour drive, being able to pack this away into a minimal amount of room is a must. I didn't want to get a chair without knowing that I could pack it up if need be. And this chair, I know I will be able to keep with years to come. I just check and make sure you get wheels for your needs. I had to order new wheels separately, which added about $20 to the cost.
It's not a deluxe gaming chair, but it's comfortable enough - so much better than the old folding chairs I have been using!
Only 4 out of 5 stars on value for money because some of the deluxe gaming chairs with footrests and headrests were $10 more during black Friday sales. You can find And those were comfortable. I won't be falling asleep in this chair. Which might be a good thing. You can find a better bang for your buck if you wait and go for the right sale. I bought this on sale at $80, or $100 after having to buy hardfloor wheels for it.5
Better than expectedCARLOThis chair is super comfortable. It reclines. It rolls. It's easy to assemble.. Can't beat it for the price.5
Chair with armsKarenI like this product, assembly was ok, and it worked well with the desk!5
