Great sofa tableDeborahThis is a nice table. Good quality wood. Sturdy. Easy build. It only took about 30 minutes with both of us to put together. I like the way it looks inside my entry way. The drawers are helpful for keeping things tidy.5

Beautiful when finished but Assembly was Awful!TheresaAt this point in homeownership, I would almost consider myself an IKEA assembly pro (10+ ikea items in the last 10 months). I usually do them by myself in about an hour. But let me tell you, this table was DIFFICULT! Most of the pieces are nearly identical; having one side the same but the other side slightly different. Usually the manuals do a fairly decent job of showing you both pieces and crossing out the wrong one. Not on this table. I had nearly the entire top section together before realizing I had screwed up. It all fit together wrong... until it didn't and I had to take it all apart. When all said and done, the table is wonderful! It is exactly the size I wanted and works perfectly for the entryway table. It is also nearly an identical style to the HEMNES line, so it fit with my other pieces of furniture great.
The only thing I don't like about it is that the drawers are not on runners. They just pull in and out of the openings. Not a huge deal but they fit very tight thanks to the dumb plastic "screws" that hold the back of the drawers together. Because they have a round head, they do not sit flush with the side of the drawer and thus stick out, no matter how hard you hammer them in, making the drawer hard to slide/open.
Otherwise, this was a great piece of furniture- very sturdy, well put together and high quality. It is one of the more expensive IKEA pieces but well worth it.4
