Beautiful duvet and pillow shamsCOLLEENThis duvet set washed beautifully. I didn’t need to iron it once it came out of the dryer. It lends itself to a wonderful summery look at our house on Lake Erie.3
great value for a cotton duvetKARENLove the snap closure and texture. Also the perfect size for my queen size down comforter.5
Pretty good product, but overpriced.MARJANPretty good product, but overpriced.5
Beautiful duvet, not strong enough for cat attacks thoughV V.I love the papery look of this duvet and the bright off-white color. It’s not easy finding a neutral duvet with this kind of texture and nuance. It also gets softer with each wash. With its tighter weave, I was hoping it would hold up to my cat who likes to think my hands and feet are mice under the covers. I have a tricky time trimming his claws too, so unfortunately he has torn three small holes in a span of 2 months. Not a fault of the duvet quality under normal circumstances, just a warning to anyone else with cats who like to ferociously attack sheets! They do hold up to him jumping on the bed and whatnot. The duvet is the same texture on both sides though so at least I will have another side to flip to once one side gets too ragged. I wish the duvet opening was wider, but it’s not too much of an impediment. The pillowcases are also queen sized, so they are a little long for standard pillows.5
Perfect Clean White DuvetWendyI was looking for a soothing white duvet for our bedroom. Our decor is "Japandi" style, and this duvet is just what I wanted. Soft, well made, and very pretty.5
Excellent quality!!AIMYExcellent quality!!5
Clean and ClassicNATALIEThis is exactly the clean and classic look I was going for! It's soft and comfy as well!5
FantasticANDREA100% cotton Soft Keeps its shape Long lasting. Over a period of 10 years this is my 3rd. Excellent quality5
Nice but weird size!Nancy A.I really love the way this duvet looks that’s why I’m overlooking that the queen size doesn’t fit a Queen bed. From top to bottom it’s way too small, side to side is fine. I love how simple it is but has a really nice pattern that gives it texture. Great for a minimalist look!3
Hit and missJennifer M.Has a lot of pros and cons. The price point it great. The “texture” and look are fantastic. It’s a great color white and adds a nice style to the bed. The feel of the fabric? MEH. It’s not soft and it’s very cold to the touch. It reminds me of a plastic diaper cover or a bed cover. So loud and a far from high end fabric feel. When you wash and dry, wrinkles galore. It does not have ties but I have clips that keep the duvet in place. No big deal there. Unfortunately, this set is a no for me.1
Duvet cover too bigVivian H.I love the print and quality, but all of my duvet covers from ikea are too big for my duvet insert, which, I also got from ikea.. I dont know why, but theres an extra 5-6 inches on the side. Can anyone help me??4
They got everything right!!CHASE L.I have used twin size duvet’s, most of my adult life. I have had good duvet covers and bad ones. I have bought them in the US and overseas. I find that with IKEA, the majority of the time they are fantastic. They fit perfectly unlike others which can be way too large and the duvet swims around in them. They can have no closure, buttons, snaps or zippers - with this particular item I love the snaps! Buttons end up falling off eventually. Snaps have always worked great. I haven’t had many with zippers, but I like that idea too. This duvet cover is great quality at a great price. The design is simple yet looks classy and European. Considering that most duvet covers are at least double this price if not more, it’s really impossible to beat. I like the white very much but it would also be nice if there were a few other colors.5
Purchased this product twice! LoveRebeccaPurchased this product twice! Love the texture and holds up to many washings. I highly recommend!5
Lovely and stylishEnjoliI saw the duvet on a bed in the marketplace and immediately knew I had to have it. It's so stylish and a different play on the white duvet. The visual and physical texture of the ribbon stripes were the perfect touch. The only thing I was iffy about was the fact that it doesn't have any strings to secure it to my duvet. However, it is a perfect fit and hasn't moved around inside of the cover yet.5
Good qualityCathreenGood quality5
Excellent!MariaI got this Ofelia Vass conforter and pillow set in King size. I have to say, that the quality of the material and the organic cotton is beyond excellent. It feels nice, crispy, comfy and it gives to my bedroom an upgrade for sure. I'm very happy with this purchase. You will never be disappointed when buying Bedding at Ikea. I'd recommend not only this but to buy all bedding at Ikea because of the price, quality, ethical source and design.5
Airbnb use for over ten years!Lynn C.I have had Airbnb’s rentals for over ten years. I have used this particular style on all the beds. I use a touch of bleach between rentals and they have lasted. It’s time for new ones and I am very excited that I can order these online as I live in Durango Colorado. The beauty of them is they come out of the dryer, just crinkly enough enhancing the pattern, but never too wrinkly, even if we wait to gather them up. I wish they zippered, but the buttons are great. The buttons have never popped off. I always go for the crisp white selection.5
I was pleasantly surprised withJeannieI was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the product. Almost bought another duvet cover at three times the price of IKEA’s.4
Love it!Vicky V.Fine & delicate. Just what I was looking for5

Our take on cotton

We use cotton in many of our products, from sofas and cushions to bed linen and mattresses. It is a soft, durable, and renewable fiber that breathes and is good at absorbing moisture. All these great qualities make cotton one of our most important materials, but it isn’t without its challenges, much having to do with conventional farming methods that negatively impact the environment and poor working conditions for farmers. With our size and production volumes, we want to drive change in the cotton industry.

Working together to drive change

Each year, IKEA uses around 0.5 percent of all cotton grown around the world. This may not seem like a lot, but the number is big enough to drive change in the industry. For many years, we have been working with partners and stakeholders globally to transform conventional large-scale cotton farming and set social and environmental standards for cotton production. As an example, we helped set up the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) who runs the world’s largest cotton sustainability programme. BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future. Today, more than 110,000 farmers have adopted more sustainable farming practices within IKEA projects.

Ensuring compliance throughout the value chain

All IKEA products are produced in accordance with the IKEA IWAY Standard, our Supplier Code of Conduct. It sets out the minimum environmental and social standards expected from our suppliers, including compliance with local laws. We do not accept any form of forced labor, child labor or treatments in breach of our supply chain requirements. Our cotton teams across the globe ensure that all cotton used in IKEA products meets the demands of compliance in our supply chain. By having teams on the ground in areas where it has previously been challenging to work responsibly, we can challenge the traditional ways of working and improve the industry. If we discover that we are acting in places where we cannot ensure our requirements are being met, we follow-up on the ground and drive change.

Material

What is cotton?

Cotton is one of the world's most appreciated and used natural fibers. Textiles in cotton are soft, hardwearing and can be washed at high temperatures. They are also good at breathing and absorbing moisture – making them pleasant to wear close to the body. Today at IKEA we use more and more recycled cotton and strive to make sure that all the new cotton we use has been grown and produced with less and less amounts of pesticides, fertilizers and water.

Designer thoughts

Designer thoughts

I live at the east coast of Denmark. It was here, at the shores of Snekkersten, I found inspiration when designing my part of the OFELIA collection. Nature is shaped slowly and continuously, and still it's fragile. Like the waves - so relentless, yet fleeting. The materials and the design of the collection have its roots in the Nordic light, the sand on the beach, the waves, the driftwood and the plants. In a world that goes faster day by day, I hope this collection will bring a sense of thoughtfulness and serenity to your home.
