moat frustrating thing to assemble evercarlos123098this thing has 4 steps. it is the most difficult piece of furniture to assemble i have ever seen it is impossible to get it right I had to stop in the middle of the process to write this, that's how angry i am at this1
OaklaneIt sure works great for our needs.5
Does the jobOnigamiEasy to assemble. Super light weight, scratches a bit easily. I wish it was made out of some more solid wood pieces but it gets the job done and was the only non drawer option for the Glass tabletop I purchased.4
Great value!ChanandlerbongI bought two of these for use with an existing desktop. I had been looking at the Finnvard trestles but decided that the price was too high for what amounts to table legs. This trestle fit the bill. I plan to add shelves to mine later as these are made of solid wood and should accept small screws just fine. Unless you really need the adjustable height and/or tilt of the Finnvard, these trestle supports will do the trick at less than 1/3 the price. While I can agree that the directions don't give clear info about each leg's position, it's easy to figure out how it all goes together. Come on, people, there are only eight pieces!5
**** poor craftsmanshipjorgeporgeThis is probably the worst product Ikea has come up with. The metal and wood parts are so poorly crafted that the screws were impossible to screw in. I've used the straight legs for smaller desks or the drawers for the larger ones and they all look and function far better and you won't induce any aneurysms or heart attacks during the assembly process.1
Too Bulky and difficult installationwestm7It took me a while to set these legs up. The paper instructions were no real help. I had to go to YouTube to see someone else set them up which was very helpful. Once the legs and table were all put together, I felt like the legs were too bulky for the top of the table and added no real value for storage but took up a lot of underneath space. They do look nice, however.3
Very sturdyGregorySI was not sure how these would work with the Linnmon tabletop I purchased from IKEA. It's a very different product as far as leg attachments go. You put them together and just plop the tabletop on there. The assembly was fine and the sturdiness is great.5
Pretty and sturdyGARBGreat trestle for the price, very sturdy and very pretty, very easy and fast to assemble. Love it...!!!, I put a very heavy glass on top and works perfect and stable.5
assembly nightmaregege2122I STILL cant figure out how to get this put together. My plan was to attach a planter box on the top but its sitting in pieces on the floor. I even watched the videos online on how to put it together.3
versatile, sturdy, and looks stunninglancelot916I paired this with the Linnmon (Beige) and it's amazing. I don't know why people have a hard time assembling this. It can be a 1 person job but yes, 2 is faster. it's actually easier and fast to place it right side up (you heard me) and fasted the legs. Yes, you can put it on wrong but just fix it if you do (no biggie). It takes about 5 minutes per leg. finally, i don't know why people are not happy with the rubber stickers to hold the table up. The Linnmon table is light which would make it easier to move but it's sturdy! It does not move. It's actually ingenious. I can break this down anytime I want ,which we often do in a startup office where we have multiple activities.5
Worst assemblyjkh1983The assembly directions are hilariously terrible. I had to watch an assembly video on youtube which wasn't much better. At least make the assembly instructions better2
PavielleLove this item. Works great for office.5
Sucky AssemblySydHusThe assembly of this is genuinely terrible. It matters what way the legs face as they need to be flush flat on the floor and then there’s slants to sit flush with the top. However, the legs are not labeled and the directions do not show any differences between the sides so it is impossible to tell which leg faces what way. It is terribly confusing and frustrating. Also missing the bumpers to hold desktop too it despite saying they were included.2

Great productJazzfanGood quality, supports 3/4 glass desk top just fine!5
Beautiful Accent to TabletopMercy23Adds character to the tabletop, looks beautiful. A little tricky to put together at the beginning. But once you get the hang of it it’s pretty easy.5

Works, but assembly is not a one person jobdaedwaAssembly is a two person job. And the bolts that go into the legs and main stand does not make much sense. It screws into a metal piece on one side, but does not screw into anything on the other. You can basically just pull them apart. Also, the metal pieces in the legs where you screw in the bolts comes out of the wood quite easily. I ended up removing these metal pieces and buying separate, longer bolts, with nuts to secure the other side of the leg to the cross section.2
