Of course your home should be a safe place for the entire family. That’s why hardware is included so that you can attach the chest of drawers to the wall.

You can use one modular chest of drawers or combine several to get a storage solution that perfectly suits your space.

You can easily create your own personal design by mixing chests of different colors.

Integrated damper catches the running drawer and closes it slowly, silently and softly.

The concealed drawer runners ensure that drawers run smoothly even when heavily loaded.

Nordli 12 drawer dresserMaureenGood solid product. Assembly takes awhile and you must be meticulous and read directions carefully and be sure to use the correct screws in the correct places (some look almost identical!).5
Very bad experienceSAJIDBought this item and returned as well, every time missing something or broken item1
No top or bottom. ItANNETENo top or bottom. It comes separate when I was trying to get the top and bottom. They said discontinued. Never buy agin1
Could have make it designed with more spaceCynthia tWhen I was assembling, realized that designer wasted lot of space inside. That means, the drawer is not as big as the actual chests size. They could have use that extra space to make the drawer bigger, then I could have put more clothes. Rather than that, for the price I paid, it’s good. It was easy to assemble once I did the first one.3
Nice modern simple linesLexicaBought several various size units to create one six drawer tall, one nine drawer tall and one six drawer medium height unit. While assembling took awhile, I found it relatively easy to do and only needed help lifting the top portion of the taller units. (I’ve bought and assembled many IKEA items over 25 years). The look is clean, modern and streamlined. Love the style. Could not find anything in other stores that were similar in cost or style that was better constructed. I’m happy with my choice.5
Ikea, sort ofHaHanMy young teen son picked this out after a room reno. This is the first large piece ive bought from ikea in a few years. Pros: heavyweight, solid piece, large, looks great, stylish, soft close, large drawers. cons: this was COMPLEX to put together (and i have assembled a number of Ikea pieces over the years!!!), required way more tools than the old Allen wrench and wooden pegs. Yes you technically could use a screwdriver but there were so many screws and such force was required I can't imagine not using a drill. It took a long time! Price was a little steep for Ikea, especially given the work needed to put it together. It works well so far but I'm worried the soft close feature on the drawers will hold up over time3
Great product and stack ableNorma ikea QueenThese drawers are great! I wanted the six drawer chest for my little sisters room but they didn't have it in stock anywhere. So ingeniously I bought two of these and stacked them, be advised that this product dosent have a top for that purpose it was possible to stack and add and additional three drawer chest on top making it a six drawer chest. Also heads up you have to buy the top separately but it works out and ended up being cheaper than the complete 6 drawer chest in the same brand. I am a lady assembly was easy, did it myself. There several youtube videos out there on how to assemble this product, just take your time grab one glass just wine just one glass lol. Drawers are sturdy and large. If your stacking them make sure you mount to the wall. Wish I could add picture to this review.5
Not goodJackson47I bought a smaller version of this and was very angry. Not only was it more than advertised but no top came with it. It’s stupid to sale something like this with no top.2

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA, we believe that sourced in responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill waste – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a valuable resource instead of being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look. The day your sofa or bed needs replacing, the material in the particleboard can be recycled into something entirely new.

Designer thoughts

Designer thoughts

"When I designed the NORDLI bedroom series I was inspired by modern Scandinavian design and smart functions. It all started with just a bed and bedside table, then grew into a complete series. Each piece works great alone or combined with others. They all have their own special features with focus on functionality and quality. The modular chests come in different shapes and sizes that you can combine freely to suit your space. Some pieces are also great in other rooms too, like the living room, hall – even in a small business."
