Perfect, easy, qualityKalliVery sweet little desk and very easy to put together. The price was a little steep but the quality is amazing 5
Satisfactory, but it is wobblySophiaNot sure what's with all these reviews praising its stability. This thing is super wobbly and the bottom support slat is not held in very well on one side. Otherwise, it is exactly what I wanted and very cute.4
Small footprint, but challenging to sit atJulietteThe small footprint and bamboo attracted me to this desk. I put cables through the slots in the desk drawer, and that worked well. However, for anything larger than a laptop, it's just too small. And, because I'm petite, the space between the top of the desk and the bottom of the drawers is rather uncomfortable. My desk chair doesn't work well with it either -- it's too big of a chair sliding underneath, which makes sitting at it (as I am now) not the most comfortable endeavor. 3
Modern twist and durableMaryLove this collection. Bought the closet, this desk and a night stand that I'm using for a printer base.
Modern and very good looking.5
Nice small deskLouisFits well into small space. Looks good and was easy to assemble.5
GreatSaraHappy with it. Very pretty, stable and sturdy, goes together easily. I don't recommend using it as a computer desk unless you cover the surface with something. The bamboo felt prickly and left red places on my hand where it was sliding across using the mouse. 4
Satisfactory to good (-:Ma.The legs are a bit wobbly and quite unstable. It would be better if the other end of the drawer slot would have a stopper. Overall, product is satisfactory. (-:3
Overall I love this little vanityAnnThis little vanity is perfect in almost every way. I love that it is made of bamboo. I wish it came with drawer glides…4
Great piece!TaniaNot only does this piece look great (love the bamboo, it blends perfectly with my older pine pieces), it is versatile as well. It is labeled as a dressing table but I am using it as a desk and I couldn’t be happier with it!5
How to easily fix its shortcomingsWinnieI truly like the design, look, details (e.g. gold colored screws), size, and versatility of this dressing table. I wanted to love it, but the same complaints other people have (lack of drawer stop, rails, scraping noise) almost made this a deal-breaker if it weren't for 2 easy, no-skills-needed hacks:
(1) I cut strips of felt and use double-sided tape to secure them along the inner edges of the dressing table, on both the horizontal and vertical edges. It makes the drawer move wonderfully smoothly and silently without the awful scraping noise.
(2) About closing without a drawer stop, I simply close with my thumb pressing on the outer edge of the drawer face; when my thumb touches the table, I know when to stop. If your table is against a wall, you could also tape some felt onto the wall to avoid making dents in the wall. That said, I really like the option of opening the drawer from either side if I happen to configure the table away from a wall.
A few other issues. The surface of the table is a little bit rough, so I used a placemat on top. Also, the screw-on feet could not go all the way in one of the table legs (defect inside the leg, not the screws) so I had to do without. Finally, the legs are thin and might not hold up if used for more than its intended purpose. Don't rest your feet on the lower horizontal bars or they might snap. Despite all this, I still give it 4 stars.4
Perfect size vanity!BrittanyUsing this as a nightstand and vanity, the size is perfect! The grain of the bamboo is lovely and gives a very natural look. The quality of the product is great for the price! Glad I waited for it to come in stock!5
Good as a small deskFredPerfect for my wife to use as a desk with her laptop. Nice bamboo construction. A bit pricey though.5
Works perfectVirginiaI have a small area in my sons room and this works perfect as a small desk. Easy to assemble and looks great.5
Perfect size and minimal butKimberlyPerfect size and minimal but sturdy design to house my laptop and accessories. I love bamboo. Lightweight, real wood not thinly laminated particalboard (which doesn't hold up in my household), and a easily renewable resource. The only thing I would add would be a hole for charging cords in top. I'd also like to know what if anything is used to seal the bamboo, so I could add some additional coats.5
Versatile tableKeriI was looking for a small table/desk to fit into my small house for my online college classes. This table is big enough for my laptop, my pad of paper and then some! Its wonderful and was super easy to assemble.5
Easy to assembleLisaI bought this a couple weeks ago and I love it so far. It was fast and easy to assemble. The table is lightweight and small.5
