I got 2 of them!
Both of them will not charge!
By the way, putting it together is not easy! I felt it would broke !
The pink color did not need assembly at all???
I use the regular battery and one is working and one will light up for 1 second and off!
After checking the instructions, I went and gotten the ikea rechargeable battery and going to try it again! It kind of saying need the battery in then charge! I find it very stupid but I will try it soon! Not sure it will work!

Flimsy, doesn’t tighten AlicjaIt is a plastic cap, and no matter how much you tighten the screws, it doesn’t keep the lampshade in place, it just falls over. Also, you have to buy AA rechargeable batteries, and have a USB-C cable because it doesn’t come with it.

I've tried inserting new batteries and it still won't hold a charge unless it's connected to the wall.
Turns off after 5 secAbigailI got this as a reading lamp for my son. It's cute, and I think the light is perfect for a reading light. The shade tips over despite tinkering with it. The big issue is that despite charging and replacing the batteries it turns off after a few seconds and my son starts screaming - "Mommy! You know the lamp doesn't work!" I've missed the return window and keep hoping that if we just charge it one more time somehow it will magically fix itself but so far no dice.

Cute but battery cover won't lastLauraI loved this lamp, especially when combined with the rechargeable batteries, but the battery cover is very flimsy. Eventually the force of the batteries pushing down on the cover will cause it to break off. The only reason mine lasted over a year is because I jerryrigged it but even with added support the battery cover eventually gave away. If they changed the design I would buy another in a heartbeat, otherwise I do not recommend getting this lamp.
