Back feels great, joints are cushioned, and the price is right to swap it out once a year for better support (as needed). Cover is removable and washable, which we have done. Washed delicate cycle and air dried. No shrinkage. In moving away from modern mattresses that are all very soft, I started with a shikibuton and foldable tatami mat, but that was a little too firm for my joints. The Minnesund strikes the balance of just right.5

DO NOT BUY!Jessica P.DO NOT BUY! Extremely thin, like 4-6 inches thin AND extremely firm. Bought these to use on a daybed and trundle looked sloppy with baggy sheets that didn’t fit because they’re soooo THIN! The worst part is how sloppy they look with bedding on them because everything is so baggy fitting on these. Bought mattresses at a mattress store instead. Tried returning these for a refund or store credit. Store would only credit toward another mattress which obviously after these cheap failures I don’t trust any of their other mattresses. Poor products and poor customer service, and big price increases on most products. No reason to shop IKEA anymore.1
