Grate productMUKUNeasy to assembly and very good looking.5
Great value for the moneyMindyThis dresser is great! The drawers slide easily, the drawers are sturdy and well built. You don’t have to worry about the drawer bottom falling out because the design is smart! The dresser drawers are plenty spacious too.5
MDF planksHoratioWell, you build it, you know that your dresser is not made of top notch material. Seriously, spend more and get the real wood products. You'll feel much happier having a wood dresser than a MDF one. The finished product does looks nice though.3
Chest of DrawersJamesThis furniture is very well made. Easy to assemble and provides lots of space in the drawers for our cloths.5
Excellent productMarcelleExcellent product5
AmazingLexiIt was difficult to put together but amazing overall, only problem is getting the drawers straight and not to crooked. 9/10 loved it besides that plenty of room!4
DresserAmyThe first box was pretty easy to put together. Hopefully the rest willl be5
Is an awsome chest dresserFABIANIs an awsome chest dresser but just because the color black is more money for it doesn't cut the value.4
Good product, looks greatRichardEasy to assemble. Highly recommended5
Exactly what I was expectingTyrellExactly what I was expecting5
Sub-par quality materialsMichael P.Materials are a low-quality pressboard, and laminate to look like wood. I found the laminate to be fine, but the pressboard is barely passable for assembly. In fact, the four horizontal pieces that are visible in between the drawer fronts, all split during assembly. I could not put the pressure necessary on the (plastic) tightening widget, without splitting the course pressboard piece that was to join to the sidewall. *All four* split! To salvage it, I've had to resort to applying a Construction Adhesive for wood, into the split areas and using clamps to put pressure on the pressboard to hold everything together. Very disappointing. I'm hoping I can salvage this unit. I'd like to see IKEA find a supplier of this product that uses pressboard of higher density! The pressboard of this product is the lowest I have seen anywhere.2
Look is clean & attractive.GaryLook is clean & attractive. It's new but expect it to function well. We like it very much.4
Absolutely love thisEsosaI love this dresser, the drawers are spacious and come with a support bar at the bottom so there is no risk of the clothes being to heavy.5
Cheaply MadeAstgikPro: plenty of storage space. Stores pants, shirts, socks, undergarments, undershirts and so so soooooooo much more. Con: very cheaply made. The drawers and frame are sturdy enough but the panels in between each drawer are almost like cardboard. They are extremely delicate. While trying to position the dresser against the wall, in order to fasten it to the wall studs to avoid tipping, two panels snapped in half. That was extremely disappointing. The broken panels don’t affect the structure or the function of the dresser but it is definitely an eyesore nonetheless. Suggestion to IKEA: have the manufacturer use better material/s for those panels.1
I bought this in theZOARI bought this in the past and I love that that’s why I came and bought the second one and yes they are my favorite would recommend it’s of my families and friends5
Great Chest...slight issuesBillyQuality and ease of assembly are better than other similar IKEA products. I feel like they should work to make unassisted assembly easier and there is an engineering flaw in the kit that has to be corrected with extra parts to prevent a malfunction and damage. There is not a joinery mechanism between the upright between the top drawers and the crossmember above the first full-width drawer. IKEA could address this with something as simple as two holes and a wooden dowel. I used a 1" angle bracket and two short wood-screws that I thankfully had lying around.4
Malm reviewGloriaI bought the 6-drawer vertical chest in the wood-grain. It's beautiful and sturdy. Very happy with it. Full disclosure: I contracted with Task Rabbit to have someone else assemble and it was well worth it.5
Love this dresser - IKaylaLove this dresser - I had the 4 drawer version before and just wanted extra drawers.5

What is veneer?

A veneer is a thin wooden sheet attached to things like particleboard to add a durable surface and a natural wood look – so we enjoy the many benefits of wood without using solid wood. The most common veneer types are birch, ash, oak, and beech, and we’ve made a special UV lacquer that helps preserve the wood's natural structure. A benefit with a slightly thicker veneer is how you can repair and sand the surface if it’s damaged to give furniture a longer and more beautiful life.
