The team interviewed groups of children who got to try out prototypes and provide their points of view. What were their favorite colors? What did they think of the paper? “The children had very strong and sensible opinions. We also realized how they use drawing and painting gear. For example, if you’re four years old and in the middle of making a drawing, you don’t always think of putting the cap back on the felt pen. So, these pens will last up to three days without caps.” To ensure high quality at the right price, the development work was allowed to take extra time. “What children do and how they do it is super important. Best ReneeI’ve bought four packs of this paper, I use them mostly for paper chains for decor and my Son’s birthday. But I can’t want until he’s old enough to actually use them with me. I love the color and the way they fold and cut cleanly.
I noticed a “last chance” warning under the description, will there be an updated version or is IKEA retiring construction paper? It seems silly but I’d like the chance to grab a few more if you will no longer offering it, OR I would gladly wait to see the newest version.

Our kids do a lot of drawing and I was pleasantly surprised the quality excited my expectations. Now our kids don’t sneak to grab our printer paper for drawing anymore. Food for thought: I immediately thought this would be great for a teacher as the “teacher supply list or wish list” it’s affordable and I’m sure any teacher would welcome the paper!

When we created the MÅLA series, we wanted to take children’s creation very seriously and listened to the true experts: the children themselves.
