Just what the doctor ordered!MeredithThis is a great product! I bought two Lubban stands to use as nightstands to flank my bed. My bedroom is small (12' x 14') and these stands are perfect. They are well-made, aesthetically pleasing and very functional. I am a reader so the bottom basket holds all of my books nicely. The only con was the assembly - my husband couldn't get the screws into the legs because there was no thread in the hole of the legs. He had to put the legs in a vice and line up the hole in the leg with the hole in the basket and use an electric drill to power the screw into the leg. If the hole had been tapped, he would have been able to assemble with just a screwdriver.4

FabulousSonjaI LOVE this service tray which I use as my side table by the couch😯 I have not much space and that guy is great. Look just great .5
DisappointedKatie C.Every display I’ve seen in stores has been a deep, orange-ish hue. The one I bought looked bleached! It’s extremely light colored, which doesn’t match any of the other rattan pieces in my home. No mention of “natural variances” on the website which made be believe they only picked rattan in that darker color. Total bummer since I’ve been trying to snag this item for over a year. Living 4+ hours from an IKEA makes it almost impossible to buy anything with stock constantly being yo-yo’d around.3
LubbanDianaIt’s a good one5
Great tableClaireI love the warm basket look, the fact it is on wheels and nothing gets pushed off the edges! It is a perfect addition to my family room5
Assembly was not as easyGREGGAssembly was not as easy as the instructions indicated4
Worst productMaruthiWorst product1
Poorly manufacturedDAISYVery poorly made…..had to return this because the screw holes were done wrong and the screws would not go in all the way…’s got cheap plastic wheels…..definitely not worth the price1
Excellent purchaseLAURELI use top tier and cats assigned bottom tier for scratching, toy storage, sleeping (less to trip on floor)5
Great Side TableKerstinBeen wanting this side table for a while now but it was always sold out so must be a great seller. And I absolutely love it !!!5
Sturdy and stylishNIRMALIt’s a very nice product that is light but also feels strong. One minor complaint - in assembly instructions, it would help to say how the baskets should align. There was slight trouble because of cross threading when basket is not rotated and aligned to the correct hole.4
Just what we neededRickWe needed something next to a swivel chair that would not tip over if you accidentally swiveled into it. With a broad base and wheels, this is perfect. My wife says it "cute", I'll go with "it's fine". It was very easy to assemble.5
Great productMARIAReally cute and practical. Got it for a side table for my living room and it works great since withe the wheels can use it for different purposes! Looks great and the metal tray in the upper basket makes it sturdier.5
BeautifulRoyaI got this rolling cart to use as a coffee table in my small guest suite. The bottom shelf is where I put an extra blanket or two, and the top shelf is where I put a glass of water and a new set of toiletries they'll need during their visit. Assembly was a little difficult but made easier with two people working together.5
Great side tableDebiGreat side table5
Very niceAnt kneeBought to use as a side table and it works perfectly. Lots of storage. And while it’s a decent size, it feels airy and not cluttered.5
Lovely and Movable!MooseLeeI bought this for my tiny space/guest area. It’s wonderfully compact and easy to move towards an area or away from an area.5
A great serving cart!Sweedie PieI bought this a few days ago, and I just love it. It is sturdy and attractive. I did have to get help putting it together...the bottom tray is at an angle that was a bit tricky to get the screws in, but don’t let that deter you from getting it!5
Plenty of space.DebJohBought it a few weeks ago and am very happy with it.5

Invite nature into your home with rattan

Rattan is a living material with a will of its own. That’s why we work together with experienced weavers who shape the rattan vines to functional products. The cooperation means you can have handmade furniture in your own home - created by man and nature together.

Rattan is a fast-growing palm tree that needs to be boiled and sun-dried before it can be tamed into different shapes that we can sit on, rest in, or decorate our homes with. This is where the professional weavers come in. “We wouldn’t be able to make authentic rattan products without them. They have skills that can’t be copied by machines”, says Andreas Fredriksson, who has designed some of our rattan furniture together with the artisans.

One-of-a-kind furniture

With rattan, it’s possible to create round and organic shapes that are difficult to achieve with other materials. Every rattan vine shifts in color and shape. It makes it impossible to manufacture two pieces of furniture that look exactly the same. On the other hand, you get unique items with a warm and homely feeling. “There are simpler materials to work with, but the liveliness in rattan is what gives it character. It can create a pleasant contrast to some of the other things many of us have at home”, says Andreas.

In cooperation with nature

If rattan is treated right it can be transformed into almost anything, even furniture with generous forms that can fit in a flat pack. But the design is not only up to the designer and the artisan. “You have to cooperate with Mother Nature and come up with some new solutions as well – but the reward when you get everything to harmonize makes it worthwhile”, finishes Andreas.

Designer thoughts

”We like working with natural fibers like rattan and bamboo – living and renewable materials that provide great opportunities to create unique products. The most enjoyable part of this project was to use these materials in new and innovative ways. We wanted to make furniture in natural fibers, often combined with metal underframes, that is modern, gives an airy feeling, is easy to move and comes in flat packages. Better for the environment and easier to take home and enjoy.”
