Great desk chair!AutumnEasy to assemble. Great for kids or adults.5
Great valueANYAThis is a very nice little office chair. It goes up and down easily as well as reclines if needed.5
Unsewn seamNANCYChair delivered quickly, had a dirty smudge on the light fabric. I was able to clean that. Put the chair together and noticed the back seam is not completely sewn. Kept because we needed it and it’s comfortable.3

Poor Quality for PriceDWK92This chair is worth closer to $80. I could not justify paying double for this.1
Pretty, comfortable office chairJSOWAReceived this chair. It is my second Ikea office chair. The first is made of a similar fabric and I've had it for at least 5 years. It's still comfortable and still looks great but it has arms, and I can't roll it close enough to my desk. So, I purchased this chair. It looks great, same nice fabric. It rolls fine for me on my area rug both with me in it and empty. It reclines, which is great if that's your thing. I wanted a chair that would support good posture and this does that comfortably.5
Safety casters or Design flaw?Internet PersonI purchased this online during the crisis and therefore was not able to see it in person beforehand. The chair looks great and is comfortable enough for short work, but the wheels are actually terrible. The description mentions the wheel lock as a safety feature, which I guess I can imagine, but that means you cannot easily move the chair or push it in under a desk. It just stutters and drags across our laminate floor. If you will use this chair with any frequency, consider your flooring. Everything from the wheels up is fine, but Ikea, please let me know when you sell unsafe, dangerous, rolling wheels for this so I can buy them.2
comfortable chairlulu1947. Really enjoy this chair for sewing. Rolls but not too fast. Very comfortable, easy to put together and reasonably priced5
Comfortable Office ChairDZNCI found the office chair comfortable. It does recline, it's an adjustable recline, and if you don't want it to recline (like me) simply push the lever in to lock the recline. The wheels do not roll easily unless you are sitting on the chair. I found that feature annoying. Assembly was easy. The chair arrived damaged and it took 2 WEEKS to get a hold of the Ikea customer service. There is no way to wait on hold...the phone system hangs up on you! So if you don't live close by to make a return, when needed, think twice about buying from Ikea! I will never order from them again.4
Nice Design, Wish Chair came in Polypropylenechero22I bought this thinking it looked kind of like designer options. It is a bit clunkier than I had hoped, and I wish the wheels were ALL BLACK instead of grey/black. My biggest gripe is that my cat loves this woven fabric in my home office and has easily scratched/pulled the fabric. I wish it came in polypropylene with a fabric cushion, so I could just replace the seat. Or I wish it came in an non-woven fabric.3
Don"t take out the screw on the cylinderVal AThis is a very comfortable chair but I wanted to advise that the chair will not go up and down unless the screw that is in the top of the piston is left in. My husband took it out when assembling the chair and it took us a while to figure out that the screw had to be present to hit the lever to make the chair lower and raise. There was no mention of that screw in the assembly drawings or directions. Otherwise, we liked the chair so much, we are ordering another one!4
Comfortable, and it DOES recline!IchNichtI recently purchased this product despite one of the reviewers claiming it doesn't recline. Actually, I confirmed in the showroom that it does - you just pull the lever out to unlock. The firm upholstery and supportive shape of the back rest make it very comfortable for longer work sessions.5
Looks great and is comfortableSouSou92I started working from home and needed an office chair. I got this as it looks modern, has a 10 year warranty and seemed to be made with a durable fabric. It was also more affordable than some other options I considered from world market. I got the grey color which has held up well. The seat is comfortable and it changes heights very easily but doesn't start to slip down once set. My only complaint is that the wheels seem cheap. They don't always seem to roll, rather they kind of drag along the floor. I have a plastic floor mat under it too, so its not getting caught on carpet or anything.4
Great looking comfortable functional office chair.mtantauI have used this chair for almost 8 months now, and I'm really pleased. It's firm but still padded and very comfortable, and has enough flex to tilt back a bit and have some give to it. I have no complaints at all. The fabric is great looking, modern, and durable. It was easy to assemble. I waffled a bit as to weather I wanted the tall or short back, and went with the shorter one. It still comes to my upper mid back (I'm tall) and looks great in the space, so I made the right choice for me. I'm not lounging in it anyway. I'd certainly buy this again.4
doesn"t reclinebjl123Looks great. But you'll never be comfortable sitting in this thing if you don't sit ramrod straight all day long. Maximum recline angle (only accessible with an alen wrench) might be 10 degrees. Returned this immediately after assembly. Not cheap either. Really disappointed.1
