Horrible, Defective, Ikea did NOT make right.ValerieBought this bed a couple weeks back and paid $250 for shipping it to me. Arrived, put together, got the headboard out and the tufting is defective. Either the buttons are missing or they are pulled through the headboard leaving behind holes the size of a nickel. Ikea won’t send a new headboard. I’ve emailed twice. I’ve called once. I’ve sent a message on Twitter. They won’t come pick it up and take it with them even though they are dropping off another package tomorrow that I had previously ordered. Had I not already ordered it, I wouldn’t have ordered again. I refuse to buy another item such as this because of the poor quality and poor customer services. They did say I could bring it to them. But they are 4.5 hours away and I don’t have a truck large enough to bring it to them. Horrible bed. Horrible quality. Horrible customer services. I’m done with ikea.1
3 of the buttons onlinda3 of the buttons on the headboard came broken, hanging loose...I have been trying to get a resolution from IKEA for 3 weeks now, but so far I have only received hardware to mount the headboard!?* not fix my problem! It has been very frustrating, hours on hold on the phone, explain the issue to someone (3 times now), but no results!!! I have always been a fan, but no more. Do NOT buy this bed!1
Not worth the money. Will be returningSamJHI've had this bed for ~4 months now, and while it looks nice, it's not even a little bit sturdy or stable. On top of that, straight out of the package there was a stain (it was small, so I was willing to live with that) and one of the buttons was loose. Also, the fabric upholstery doesn't fit tightly everywhere but is too tight in other areas. If you're a light sleeper, and sleep with a partner, don't even consider this bed. The second the other person moves the entire bed sways and jolts you awake. If you would be using this bed for non-sleeping adult activities, expect it rock so much that it ends up at least a solid foot away from where it started.1
Headboard looks great, a pain to put togetherijackfruityouI waited so long for Ikea to come out with a similar style such as this, something that looks West Elm tufted, so bought this one when it became available. I've owned many ikea beds and this one by far is the hardest one I have had to put together, mainly the headboard was hard. Pros: I love the regal look to this bed. Legs are swappable...didn't like the square legs so I bought round legs that were mean to be used on a couch. Cons: Cost the same price as a high end West Elm bed frame. Headboard was hard to put together (need min 2 people) and hard to stretch the fabric over it. Hate the velcro side railings and footboard. It's hard to pull it taut all around, so there are warped areas where the fabric looks loose. But besides the Cons mentioned things, it's a great sturdy bed...looks classic once you have the sheets and pillows on display. just needs minor improvements.3
Poor structureManny777The bed material is pretty good , really easy installation. However the joins broke down after 1 month of regular bed movements even when I was trying to disassemble the bed structure was terrible , I lost the received so I couldn’t get a refund1
Awesome bed!Mid65Looks great! Very sturdy! My husband put this together last night. Definitely need 2 people to assemble. The bed frame is really sturdy and heavy. All wood parts are real plywood and very strong. Headboard is a velvet material and the headboard is covered all the way down to the slats in the front and covers the entire back. Legs are solid oak. I had wanted to use my low profile box spring, but I found the bed too high for me, so we decided to not use the box spring. This was no problem because the bed includes plenty of slats to support the mattress and a strong metal center beam. I am very happy with this bed. The quality of this bed is superior! We had looked for a cheaper bed on Wayfair and I’m so glad we decided on this bed!5
