Folding doors allow more room for furniture because they don’t take any space to open.

Adjustable shelves make it easy to customize the space according to your needs.

Perfect for folded as well as long and short hanging clothes.

Perfect on its own or combined with other furniture in the IDANÄS series depending on your space and needs.

The assembly of this product is simplified thanks to the wedge dowel that clicks into pre-drilled holes.

IDANASAasimGood quality, I have no problem to assemble it.5
Awful assembly and too priceyMatt S.The tolerances on this unit are awful. Most screws are too large for their holes and aren’t tapered at the end, so it’s near impossible to get them in correctly. Beyond that, the directions for hanging the doors are terrible, and can easily lead to very crooked doors, as on the unit I received. You’ll need at least two pairs of hands to build it, but likely three; at least one who is tall enough to comfortably reach the top of the nearly seven foot tall unit, and another who is strong enough to hold doors very precisely in place during hanging. When it’s all built, you’ll be lucky if the doors work properly because the track detents are too short. Certainly not worth the money or the hassle.1
The beautiful productANAThe beautiful product5
IdanasMichaelI was concerned about assembly after reading prior reviews, but I found the assembly instructions sufficient. Really like the finished product. It feels heavy duty and well constructed.5
Don’t buy it’s very cheaply madeVanita N.Don’t buy I bought 2 I hate it The wardrobe is falling apart in the first day one of my worst buy1
IDANASMarthaWe need a lot of help at assembly5
Spacious wardrobeArmineh K.I’m in love with this purchase! Has plenty of room and exactly what was needed in our baby’s room. The only downside was that one side of the wardrobe has a few chips and I would’ve loved it if IKEA sold their white paint for it. Otherwise, I’d highly recommend it!5
Those extra 4 inches matterKEVEN V.We couldn’t get this through the door assembled as it wouldn’t clear our ceiling at an angle by about two inches. Also did a lot of damage to ceiling and door frames while trying. Plus the assembly requires a lot of brute strength to lock panels in place. I really regretted buying this over anything else I have ever bought at IKEA1
Yes, I would recommend theMariaYes, I would recommend the product, however the instructions were not well written. Since the instructions consist of only pictures, the pictures should be much clearer to see and define what is expected. My husband put my furniture together and was very frustrated from not understanding the instructions because of the poor quality of the pictures. I love the furniture, but your instructions could really use some reworking to make them easier to understand.5

What is veneer?

A veneer is a thin wooden sheet attached to things like particleboard to add a durable surface and a natural wood look – so we enjoy the many benefits of wood without using solid wood. The most common veneer types are birch, ash, oak, and beech, and we’ve made a special UV lacquer that helps preserve the wood's natural structure. A benefit with a slightly thicker veneer is how you can repair and sand the surface if it’s damaged to give furniture a longer and more beautiful life.
