Beautiful!! Looks great in mySusanBeautiful!! Looks great in my new bathroom!! Love the easy close drawers and the size!5
Great height and lookSHANNONThis sink cabinet and basin were fairly easy to assemble and install. The height is great because I don’t have to bend over a lot to wash up. The drawers are soft-close and hold many towels, toiletries, and makeup.5
WawasI liked the lip on the sink top.5
Problematic PlumbingCamS28I can't seem to figure out how you can possibly assemble the plumbing AND also be able to close the drawers fully. The U bend and drain pipe are expected to fit into a 5 inch wide space between the drawer and the wall. I had to cut a keyhole out of the drawer in order to get it to close.3
Tutu MagooI bought 2 of these to go in a new home I built. They are just what I wanted and they look incredible. I also bought 2 medicine cabinets to go with them.5
Fantastic Productmobrina2001I loved this product from the moment I saw it. I purchased it to fix the guest bathroom up along with the matching cabinet however, it was missing some parts. I was short some wooden dowels (luckily I had some left over from another IKEA product) and it did not come with the screws to mount it to the wall. It was interesting to take the IKEA instructions into the hardware store and say I am looking for these. Other than that, this product is still amazing.4
Great storage!sbruderBought this for the remodel of the “kids” bathroom. It is stylish looking; resembling a piece of furniture. Love the drawers and the dividers! Assembly was not that difficult. I would highly recommend it!5
Perfect for small bathTrudysignsLove the drawers for storage. It was the perfect solution.5
Wonderful Vanityhdt33Love the wide drawers. Easy access to items and love the look!5
Love it....smoor5Everyone compliments my bathroom remodel and it gave the perfect touch. My 12 year old who is very smart assembled it by himself.5
good and badAnonymous reviewerAlthough I love the sink/top and like the overall look of the cabinet, I regret the purchase. We went with high-end tile, tub, toilet and fixtures so I thought I could get away with something a little more basic for a cabinet but I was wrong. The drain and overflow are a cheap and flimsy looking chrome. I bought a replacement drain (Pfister push & seal) but it would not work with the plumbing that came with this cabinet. And the drawers are standard depth drawers that do not compensate for plumbing so I have to alter both drawers. It's a pretty cabinet and I love the sink top but was not worth the effort in modifications.3
Love them!DotdalyWe renovated two bathrooms in our house and I used this one for the smaller bath and the bigger version for our bigger bath. I was not involved in the putting together part, but I know I got a lot of flak for buying these....that being said, I love them!!! This is exactly what I was looking for, the price was right and the big drawers make the space very usable. I hope I don't have any issues of them falling apart. We don't have any kids in the house anymore, so they should hold up!5
Looks great, but is starting to fall apartjambiI love the drawers, the easy open / close rails, the space for toiletries. This piece looks great and is easy to clean. Unfortunately it's starting to fall apart after a 1 year and a half of use. The bottom drawer front won't close properly. It looks like it's hanging open all the time. It used to be fine so I think something is sagging or failing. Will update if I take it apart and fix it, but the cheapness of ikea products is coming through on this particular item.2

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA, we believe that sourced in responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill waste – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a valuable resource instead of being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look. The day your sofa or bed needs replacing, the material in the particleboard can be recycled into something entirely new.
