The sturdy solid pine frame has natural variations in grain, color and texture, giving every piece a unique look. And it has been stained and lacquered making it more durable and easy to care for.

You can sit up comfortably in bed thanks to the high headboard – just prop some pillows behind your back and you will have a comfortable place to read or watch TV.

There’s plenty of space under the bed for storage boxes – great for stowing extra quilts and sheets.

Seeing other people saying this is a concern is so upsetting. The actual bolt that connects the frame was bent. The bolt metal quality is bad. Do not buy the bed!! Our son is 5'4" and weighs 110 pounds. This bed should not have fallen apart in the middle of the night! The slats had fallen when the frame came undone. We bought it in 2020... It is now March of 2023 and we have a broken bed.1

Otherwise it is a solid bed and has survived three moves in over a decade.3
