Worst Item I've ever purchased from IkeaIrfan C.Where do I start? Some parts of the product is good quality but some of the parts are really low quality.
1. One of the front faces between the drawers is bent. My drawer won't close unless I bend it upwards with my hand. Eventually the drawer will lose its paint and it will get screwed.
2. The unit is not very stable compared to many many drawers I purchased from Ikea before. It is wobbly.
3. Some of the stuff in the package does not lineup properly so I accidentally ended up making a hole on the left side. Tough to explain what exactly happened but know that things do not align properly.
I can't even take the bent part out without undoing most of the work I've done. It took a good 3-4 hours to assemble the thing. Since I already spent that much time, I don't want to return the damn thing and redo the whole thing over.
Don't get me wrong, I like IKEA but this product was a total disaster for me...
Solid chest, cheap drawersTom L.Easy to assemble if you just chug through the instructions. The drawers are very cheap, but serviceable, at least for now. It’s the furthest thing from a heirloom, but works to store cloths. I would guess that it will last for 5 to 10 years. Drawer slides work well and the chest itself is solid. The drawers are very cheaply and weakly made. It is surprisingly tall - check the height that you want.
Very poor productAndrew G.This is the single worst piece of furniture I've had the displeasure of assembling. All the components are flimsy and of poor quality. I've had multiple boards crack from turning the tighteners (which have also warped because they are very weak) about 3/4ths of what they're supposed to be tightened to. The top right drawer is very resistant when being opened due to misalignment issues (I'm not the only review on here that has had the same drawer be misaligned). The nails used in this product are unbelievably small and thin and will bend if you are not perfect with your hammering. Everything is very annoying to deal with and it even wants you to drill holes into your walls so that it doesn't fall over. Would not recommend this product.

Good quality, but takes long to assembleLorrie R.Hubs took about less than 5hrs to assemble! He said it's like lego pieces. Literally built this drawer from scratch. It took forever from the frame to putting in the glides. After, I was almost satisfied. I can see side metal parts from the front view of the drawer. At first it was rough to slide the left drawer...and had to switch the drawers around...but then I can see a tad slot of the metal glides. I do like how they put a finish gray pattern inside the drawers. I wish they did the same to the exposing wood drawer. Hubs almost damaged the front of drawer by pounding the drawer too hard. It almost looks like a dent in the front drawer. I picked this one vs the $149 dresser b/c its said it's made of real wood. Good heavy quality, drawers are decent. Sliding drawers could be smoother. Price good on sale for $279 but sadly Brown wasn't. I think this drawer is comparable to the $149 dresser. I couldn't tell the difference in performance. Recommend if you can handle assembly + price.

Item does not work properlyLingrui X.I brought this 6-drawer chest in March. I had it assembled though taskrabbit. After assembly, the second drawer is miss aligned, and cannot be open properly. I had an exact same 6-drawer chest couple years ago, and it didn't have this issue. The quality of the product is not as good as before.

Painted WoodTaryn S.We bought a dresser from this series about 10 years ago. I was disappointed with the finish, the quality has gone down hill. It’s just painted wood and you can see the wood thru the thin white paint. The old Hemnes was a strong smooth even finish.
