Reviews
Friend got one, I love itKathleenDespite what other reviewers have said, $200 for a stylish, solid-feeling coffee table is an excellent price. Maybe they've not looked at furniture made completely of wood in the past decade? Anyway, my friend in Brooklyn got one of these for their living room, and it's very cool. Yes, it's particle board, but it's solid, and the oak veneer is actually quite nice. Yes, you might be able to find something that's this stylish (I keep coming back to that word, but it's got *style*) at a resale shop or if you get lucky on the Buy Nothing group, but probably not. And we're still using Bestas and Paxes and Billys we bought 15 years ago, and that's after moving twice. Take care of your things, and they take care of you. Don't poo-poo the particle board.
Lower your expectationsGlennReading other reviews that they are disappointed that this table is made of particle board is hilarious. It's $200 not $1000.
Really disasppointedAnonymous reviewerI really wish this table had been made out of wood. Nobody wants particle board for a piece that is aesthetically heirloom quality design
DisappointedDillonI was really looking forward to this re-issue. Sad to see it's made of cheap particle board and still costs $200.
Particle Board??? Really????Anonymous reviewerA $200 table and the tabletop is particle board with oak veneer…. such a disappointment. Could have and should have been solid wood.
