Great hamperKIMFits in tight spaces, yet holds a lot. I just bought another one.5
laundry binEarlbI bought this last week and the instruction were poor at best. I had to take apart a couple times to get everything matched up. You would think it would be easy to put together. I just finished putting a BBQ grill, 4 barstools and 2 office chair which was less time and easier to put together. But Once I had it all together I was happy.4
greatly improvedsarawelder52I bought this a few weeks ago to replace an almost identical item from Ikea many years old. the old one had a wheel that fell off all the time till I glued it on with epoxy. The construction was a bit brittle and when something fell on it the support bars broke. The new GRUNDTAL is much better made and the wheels are great on my tiled bathroom floor. I did prefer the slightly larger square size of the old one and I miss not having a white fabric part. ( the old one had spare covers in white or black). However I am overall much happier with this one. It was a breeze to put together.5
Wish I could love itKtw102085Ball bearing all over my house within 6 months. Wheels constantly needed tightened, no firm bottom so the bottom of the bag would drag on the floor. Such a great idea so poorly executed. For $40 it shouldn’t last longer than 6 months.1
Wheel Part Availability LackingIkeaFan5309Everything but the plastic castor sockets that is used to connect the wheel to legs, is fine. They break apart and the castors are useless. And as a connecting piece, like for any piece of Ikea furniture, it should be available in the extras bins in front of the store. They are not. That is the flaw in this design. I have searched online and other hardware stores, and contacted Ikea for help. Nope. Such as shame as the design is the perfect size for small bathrooms, dorms, etc, and the rest of the materials used are great. There is also no way to put in different wheels. We looked at that option. Nope. I'd hope the comments would be read, and parts would become available - if not in plastic, then in metal. It has the potential to be rated excellent across the board. It is rare an Ikea product I choose disappoints.2
Great featuresBeavis844Bought for Christmas gift. Just what they wanted.5
Looks good but very noisysid109I assembled this a week ago. Assembling it was easy, it looks good too. However, the wheels are very squeaky. Very loud noise. Anyone else has the same problem?3
Wouldn"t buy againleesa51152Bought two of these, one for each of my sons. One son is extremely neat, meticulous, and organized. His hamper still looks great. My other son is more free spirited and far less careful with his possessions. His hamper has a broken wheel and is coming apart at the seams. The hampers feel flimsy and are definitely not worth the price!2
Not very sturdy!jdupoWithin a month of use I noticed small metal balls around my home, turns out one of the washers on the wheel of the laundry bin had come apart and I could not put it back together. So one of the wheels didn’t work, and the laundry bag itself cannot hold much. It’s being held up by Velcro and there is no bottom to the frame so the bag falls through and drags on the floor. There is potential in this but very poorly designed.1

Happy, Happy, HappyChat KatEverything about this laundry basket fit my criteria. I needed something that I could move from room to room with ease and this is sturdy even when full of clothes. So happy that I found it.5
Love it!YAP12This is our second one. It’s very easy to move from room closets to laundry room. Love it!4
Works well but noisy and loosefaery_wingsThis does the exact job I need it to. It’s so convenient to wheel between areas of the house. However, the wheels are VERY squeaky and loud, and the screws continually come loose, even after excessive tightening.3
Light weight and sturdy.StephanieGPLove the smooth gliding wheels5
Easy to rollcathi13Nice hamper that I can easily roll from bedroom to laundry room. Easy assembly5
Love them! Bought 2, one for dark & one for lightslisapbNice quality. I was disappointed that one of the 16 screws for one of them had no threads so I had to make another trip to the store to get a new screw. Bought them a couple of weeks ago to replace some that I bought several years back from IKEA. One of them broke. These are improved models although the others good well for many years.5
Poor qualityAmyGrLike others, mine fell apart. I have two of these and after using them for awhile, the castors (wheels) broke and wouldn't stay in, rendering them unable to roll. I have one in my laundry room and I rarely needed to roll it so basically the wheels broke from just sitting there holding laundry. They can't be fixed. For this price, it should not fall apart. It is a shame because it looks nice and fits a tight laundry room space. I think it is just not sturdy enough to hold laundry.1
Easy to assemble and handleEmmileeI bought this for my laundry. It's perfect! It has these very nice clear wheels and it moves around easily. No more carrying heavy laundry baskets!5
Love itXtian18I bought the Grundtal hamper and it is very well made and so convenient. I just wheel my laundry to the washer done! No heavy lifting, perfect!5
Laundry made easyPlumzzI bought this product as-is. I fell in love with it because it was on wheels. Not sure why it was in the as-is section but I soon realized the bag dragged on the ground. I looked up the product on the IKEA app and I saw the picture didn't have it dragging on th he ground. I love that IKEA provides directions for assembly online. I took it apart and put it together correctly and I'm beyond happy with my laundry bin with wheels.5
