Reviews

Do not buy this bed frame!!GabriellePoor design and poor quality, very uncharacteristic for Ikea. There is only one small center leg, which is not strong enough to hold this queen bed. Our teenaged son has an Ikea mattress on this bed, and the center leg broke within months of purchase. We tried to fix with new screws, but it continues to break, and the mattress is now sagging in the center. We are just beyond the 180 day return period, so return is not an option. The poor reviews for this bed are consistent -- the center leg will break immediately! Shame on Ikea for continuing to sell this defective bed frame!1
Wobbly bed frameWilliamThe middle leg has already bent and made the entire bed sag.1
Won't lastAshleyBought this 2 years ago and only used for 1 year, the center beam has bent and we've had to replace screws once. Definitely dont recommend if you're on the heavier side. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for.1
Don’t don’t don’tBrittneeSeriously. Don’t. It will break. I’ve had mine for about a year now and it’s completely broken, the middle bar has fully bent. The screws come undone randomly. It’s just awful.1
Terrible productOmarDifficult assembly, and fell apart just by sitting on it1
Average but surprisingly flimsyIrisHad this only for 2 years, and the center beam gave out. Tried to order new parts multiple times but never came. Due to the design, the missing center part caused strain on the whole bed, resulting in the wooden planks to snap and the bed to become unbalanced. Only one missing part in the center resulted in the entire bed being unusable and unfixable.3
CheapGaleBought this, returned it. It was very flimsy and quite frankly I feared for my life every time I sat or laid down on it.1
Great price and easy to assembleLemuelgreat price and heavy duty5
Nice bed frameGeorgetteVery happy with this. Not big and bulky but it is sturdy. It took a long time to put together so it may be worth it to have someone do it for you.5
GREATRenatoGREAT5
Good price but doesn’t hold up.RachelWas originally happy with this bed frame as the look was simple and the cost was right. Started having issues with slats not staying up turns out the metal support beam is bent crooked so the slats don’t have anywhere to be held up anymore.2
Simplicity in sleepLisaThis bedframe is simple, sturdy, and is definitely where form met function.5
LOUD 🥁📣💥🗣️CooperI’ve had this bed frame for 9 months as I was trying to stick it out. Yesterday I caved and bought a wooden bed frame because this metal frame is soooooooo super loud! Every time i would move my small skinny light body on this bed frame it sounded like a tragic accident involving a Chevy Tahoe and a wooden rollercoaster. This bed is also so light that if you lean against the wall behind it (which you will find yourself doing a lot as this headboard is so low profile it is functionally nonexistent), your new bed frame will clumsily slide across your bedroom, much like a child trying to ice skate for the first time in their life. In conclusion, I would rather eat glass than purchase, use, or even look at this bed frame ever again. I encourage you all to spring for the Tarva frame or simply sleep on the bare floor, both of which will be exponentially more satisfying than this god awful bed frame.1
Solid base easy to installKarenWas able to install it myself. A little tricky for center section but got it to work great. Put some easy sliders under base feet so I can maneuver it around really easily.5
GoodFayezIt is good but not straight flat, The beginning of the mattress and the end there is a curve3
Broke in 4 monthsEmmaBarely had it for four months and the middle beam snapped in half ikea bed frames are the WORSSST1

Material

What is steel?

Steel has unique characteristics when it is stretched and shaped since it remains strong. It provides strength to everything from skyscrapers and cars to bed frames and outdoor furniture. The steel industry is moving in the direction of more energy-efficient production and stronger steel qualities. It doesn’t lose any of its properties when recycled and today steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world.
