Great sleeping sofa at a reasonable priceLauraWe had this couch for 4 years in Europe and we are glad that we found it also here in the US and that the quality isn't changed. Assembly require 2 people but it’s easy to do. The seat is truly comfy and it’s very easy to make it into a bed. All our guests always said that they slept well on it. Also the storage space under the seat is a great plus if you don't have a lot of room in you house. The only minus of our previous FRIHETEN were the back pillows, after a while they went too fluffy. Hopefully is gonna be better this time.4

Great for a Small SpaceCathyThis was quite the assembly feat, even for a seasoned Ikea customer! It was easy enough and everything fit as expected; it was just a long process. The sofa, however, is perfect for my spare bedroom which has been converted to a work from home space. Others have complained about how firm the seat/mattress is but I love it and think it is perfect. I love the storage underneath and the ease of conversion to a bed. I think what I love most, however, is that it has a relatively small footprint for a pull out sofa, a modern clean look, and it is comfortable for what it is. For an everyday sofa, it isn't the most comfy, but for decent seating and flexibility in a spare room, it is great! I almost went with a daybed when converting the room. We had a queen bed in the spare room before, so I immediately thought of a pull out daybed. A decent looking daybed with mattress, though, was actually more than this sofa and not as clean looking.5

The design makes it easy to pull out into a queen size bed that has the firmness of an Ikea medium firm mattress. We absolutely love it!5

It helps tremendously with my small space and with the mental separation from sleep mode to work mode now that I work from home. This is a great piece of furniture, it is comfortable for nightly use. I did get a topper for it to help my queen sheets fit better.5
great guest bedroom additionkyaci was pleasantly surprised when my sleeper sofa came. since ikea was closed because of the virus, i could only trust my instincts (and the many times i have shopped there) to decide which sleeper sofa would be good for us. the material was really nice; the color was what i expected. but putting it together is a definite 2-person job. it wasn't that difficult, just cumbersome. the one negative i would have to say was putting the side arms in place. one went in quite easily; the other, not so much. i still don't think it's in place correctly, but it will have to do.4

Awesome design except for getting beddingMyNameIsTakenThis couch is beautiful, comfortable and easy to use. Very thoughtful design. HOWEVER, the size of the bed portion is 57x80 so full fitted sheets are too small and queen are too big. It baffles me that Ikea wouldn't take that into consideration when designing this couch. If they just adjusted the frame by a few inches it would be perfect and the bedding wouldn't be loose and wrinkly4
