This one is a sellerNishaWe loved this desk for my teenager and holds up his gaming pc and various accessories. It's versatile and solid built. Easy to assemble. I don't know why people have difficulty with that. My 13 year old put it together with no help.
$360 PaperweightHughBought this desk 2-3 years ago in anticipation of a major household move. Move kept getting delayed but recently happened. Was REALLY looking forward to assembling this desk as I loved the look and feel of it when I saw it in the showroom.
Fast forward to this past weekend. After inventorying the hardware to make sure I had what I needed, I did, I began assembling.
Got stuck on Step 2. Two rails that are used as cross members were not there. And I can't go forward.
Now I have a paperweight taking up valuable space that I don't have and have to find an alternative ASAP as I really need my computer and I threw away my previous desk.
I understand hardware missing, things like that happen. But two complete cross members?
No, that's beyond the pale. ESPECIALLY with a signed QC sheet with it.
I'd give it minus 360 stars (one for each dollar I've apparently wasted on this thing) if I could.
Fit for (a) queenZacharyGreat desk for our office space
Perfect Gamet DeskPaulienSturdy, well built and designed - perfect for my teenage son.
Missing partsEmilyStuck on Step 1 of the assembly instructions because one of the screws is not threaded at all. Unbelievable! $370 desk where is the quality control?!

Is really nice, but hard to buildMiriamIt was pretty easy and all the screws went in until the part where you afix the desk top. You had to fit a screw in this tiny hole and then it screw its blindly into another hole deeper in the desk. The pieces on the sides were very hard to put in it and we could never get them to quite fit all the way but the outcome is workable. That said, love the desk now that it’s built.
rock solidStevenWe picked this bad boy up pre built. Solid built desk with plenty of room for expansion for the gamer. Great study desk too.
Great desk with small problemRodrigoThis is my go to desk for gaming thanks to the cut in, but the problem I have with this desk is that the cups for the cup holder do not fit into the cut outs. I have been trying to get them to go in, but the harder I try the more I think I will end up breaking the desk
Mostly greatJuliaIt's a great desk and my son is happy with it. But it has a couple extras that are rather cheap - both looking and feel. Nix the extras and it's a great desk?
Nice desk but won’t work with any PCLilianaWay too many steps to put together but if you first read all the steps you will be able to identify and rearrange the steps to your convenience, so is more efficient process. Quality is good. Materials are heavy. The stands don’t work for every PC. My son’s custom made didn’t make it. The design itself requires to be updated as current features for PS5 and other tech items (eg microphones) don’t fit in the right way. If you have patience and basic stuff will work ok.
No Monitor ArmsSabeenThe desk is great to sit on, love the cut out so you can tuck into it. I use the shelves on the legs as fancy leg rests to lounge.
However, when you do want to be ergonomic, you need monitor arms and you cannot C-Clamp arms to this. the Monitor shelf is not attached in anyway. It's cheaply made. A few screws and slightly different design would've helped a lot. Also the hooks up top are behind the monitor instead of over to the side. So they are uncomfortable to reach. The cup holders are tiny and do not hold any cup. Why would anyone throw food in there (as they are supposedly intended) when they don't come out to wash. The metal up top warps, at least it does in the store displays, hasn't happend yet to my shelves.

Good desk, but the diagrams aren’t good enough and we have 30 yrs + experienced IKEA “builders”KimMy husband and I have put together all types of IKEA furniture. THIS was the toughest. Don't build it on the floor….and you definitely need two people. As soon as you can stand it up, do so: The build is easy then. The black anti glare side panels clip in easily along with the support shelf bracket clips in the same slots on the uprights. Trust me on this. I have read online chats where people cant figure out where to put the metal clips.
I wish IKEA would spend just a little bit of time labeling up/down and left/ right and adding just a little text to their insidious instructions. They would save their customers so much aggravation. This took us 2 hrs to build ( no breaks ).
We bought for the kiddo’s 10th Birthday, along with a very cool gaming chair. Our son picked it out on a trip to IKEA, but it was a complete surprise. He is thrilled. Looks really good with his PS5. I think IKEA could offer a larger version of this desk for bigger monitors and/or triple monitor format.
My partner loves itRonNot from Wobbletown good sturdy desk with lots of room
Brought it from our sonVerified BuyerBrought it from our son and he loves it.
Awesome DeskAnaThe desk is definitely heavy, but in a way that makes it feel very well built. I do appreciate the availability of routing for cable management.
I would love to know where/what those cubes are that are mounted about the desk in one of the example pictures!!
