Cool concept, needs another iterationJforsgrenWicked cool concept, the light makes waking up far more pleasant than a traditional alarm clock. The idea is rock solid but the execution needs improvement. There's no such thing as a three pack of rechargeable batteries so you're left with one extra. It could use the extra battery because it's a power drainer. The wireless aspect is moot because you have to plug in in daily anyway. Also, I've had it for 5 months now and the batteries are even weaker, almost requiring twice a day recharge. Quite literally a battery killer. If Ikea can address the battery issue this would be a super sweet alarm clock.3
Battery Drainmeh108First it requires you to buy three ikea batteries that can be recharged. It should be more than three due to the high battery drain. Needs to be charged after one alarm use with the max bright light wake up option. If you can keep it connected via usb then its a fine alarm clock. The light is so bright that it wakes me up before the alarm rings.2
