OrganizationAileenUsed this for under the sink spray bottle holder. Works great.5
useful for very lightweight fabrics onlyCALVINIt was difficult to use as a tension rod because the way it works is you extend it and then twist to lock in place. This makes it impossible to continue to apply more force to the wall.3

First IKEA product that is disappointingHalliThey do not stay up, with or without a curtain. Plus, the "rubber" ends have gotten sticky/greasy feeling. This is not from the atmosphere in the rooms, as they were only installed mid-December for Christmas guests. Since they continued to fall down, they are now waiting for the trash. Disappointing.1
No holesLaWandaI love when I do not have to put holes in my wall. This rod has great tension and very easy to install.5
Disappointed.SandieKI didn't know the rod did not have a spring inside for tension. It works but not sure if I would have kept it if it was on a window I use all the time.4
Didn’t extendLadymcquaidThe model in the store worked just fine. Got this one home and it wouldn’t extend no way, no how. It had to go back, which was pretty inconvenient since I was working on a project.1
Works fine, not quite enough tensionRWNealThis rod doesn't have as much tension as the traditional spring-loaded ones. I do miss the set screw/spring adjustment setup that many other rods have, but this is doing the job so far.3
Super LightweightjckkIt will not withstand heavy fabric or plastic hanging down. It turned out great for my purpose, so the price was right.4
Cheap as Chips!ChrisF225My new home has a bathroom window that is 25 in width. No one does a rod, blind or anything else for that width. This rod is 27 when fully compressed. However, if you split the rods, you can saw off whatever length you want to make it fit a smaller aperture, which is what I did. I cut off 4 and the rod fits perfectly. The window (25 x 31) although it has frosted glass needed some help on decor, so to use on this rod I bought a pair of Lill nets which were on sale for $3.99 a pair. I only need one panel, which I cut off to fit the window. No hemming needed either as the polyester material doesn't fray. So the complete window treatment cost me less than $5.00. Cheap as chips!4
Excellent ValuejojodancerUsing this type of curtain rod was such a wonderful solution.5
