Disappointed with Quality and Lack of ResolutionLivnatI purchased this at the end of May 2025, by September the chaise section had already broken. Disappointing, considering this is a $2,000 furniture that I expected to last.
I contacted IKEA support several times, their representatives were polite and tried to help, but there has been no real resolution. IKEA suggested replacing the damaged part, but the assembly and disassembly are left entirely up to me. I’m not able to manage that kind of heavy work, and frankly, I believe if the item is defective, the company should take full responsibility for the process, not leave the customer to deal with. Especially when there's extra expenses involved.
Beyond this issue, the mattress is far less comfortable than the one displayed in the store, it’s practically impossible to sleep on. Both I and others who tried it experienced neck and back discomfort. The seat cushions slide out constantly, and the backrest sinks in. Was exited for this, At this point, I’m considering returning it altogether.1
Uncomfortable ChaiseKimberlyI love this couch aside from the extremely uncomfortable chaise lounge. It's great for storage, but for sitting anywhere past an hour it's not ideal. Even after adding the headrest, my back aches after sitting on this for any extended period of time. Will be giving away and purchasing a recliner since I believe my warranty has expired.3
Fine SofaDanielleWe've had this sofa for 3 years. It's held up pretty well. It's easy to clean (we have 2 kids) and the seat cushions are still firm enough. The back cushions have lost some of their shape. The chaise storage is great. We like the wide square arms. The seats are deep enough. Things we don't love: the seat cushions regularly slide off. The bed is impossible to sleep on unless you add more padding, It's comfortable to sit for shorter periods of time, but if you're going to sit and watch a movie, it's not ideal. It's okay for napping, but the chaise is a firmer than the sofa, so you have to lay on the sofa portion. We were hoping we'd love it more, but we're looking for a replacement now.3
Chaise smells badKatrinaChaise section smell very bad. I have even opened a claim. Loveseat doesn't have this problem.3
