Does the job for now.Elissa Z.Have had this with a full size Sagstua bed frame for 3 years now. While I love my bed, this slatted frame is merely ok. It does its job of holding up my mattress I suppose. I’m on the heavier side, and two of the slats have broken so far. They also shift a lot, even though it has the stoppers to keep the slats in place. I’m thinking I’ll have to bolt each individual slat to the base and see if that helps.3
Excellent Sturdy Bed FrameSunilkumarThis product is best priced and pretty sturdy. Only one care you need to take is the height of the mattress. A 14" or higher will make the sleep level too high. Or in the Assembly self pickup item do not buy the piece hardboard under the mattress.5

Ideal for our bedALEXANDER D.We bought this to fit into an Ikea SONGESAND bed which we've had for about a year and up till now, we’ve been using an older box spring and pillow-top mattress.
We ordered a new hybrid mattress (not Ikea) requiring a slatted base and felt this would be ideal.
There was no need to buy legs, including the central one shown on the instructions, as our bed has the $15 SKORVA steel center beam installed.
We assembled it in another room, including slats (easy) and the cover (not so easy), before carrying it sideways to the bed.
Before ftting the slats and cover, decide the final height of your mattress, to determine which sets of slat rails to use, which will then indicate the top.
When fitting the cover, ensure that each vertical seam is aligned half-way around each curved corner, then stretch it tight. Tip up the base on one side to get the Velcro strips matched up then do the other side.
It fits perfectly into our bed unit and sits about 2.75 inches above the wooden surround.5

Box was incredibly heavy, but great productBrian W.Bought this because we got a bed frame from Ikea and this was suggested as part of it to be a mattress base. Also, we have a crossover style SUV and a pre-assembled box spring or mattress base would never fit in our car. The box this comes in (Queen size) was unbelievably heavy. Like, frustratingly and annoyingly heavy.. should be in two boxes, but it will definitely need to people to lift unless you unbox the parts before carring it inside. Assembled it myself in about 45mins. There are reviews here saying they "didn't install the middle beam" but that the mattress was sinking... DUH, that's what the middle beam is for. Use it! Just pay close attention to the directions; anyone complaining about them didn't take time to just LOOK at them carefully. Very simple. Memory foam mattress seems very solid and sturdy on this, no sinking. It's expensive, but convenient. Would suggest.5
Best bed base ever!CHARLENE M.This thing is rock solid. I love it and have bought two. You don’t need a dust ruffle as the colored covers are nice and tailored, and you can choose your own leg height. I have it pushed up against a hefty Crate and Barrel headboard and it’s beautiful. I’m not sure what people are talking about in the bad reviews, as you only need to have a normal mattress to lay on top. Everything is flush. I suspect they did not assemble it properly. I have a Queen and do not use the extra support leg for the middle, and again this box doesn’t budge, or squeak. If you need the support leg, don’t forget to buy it separately. — I hate bed frames that require a box spring. It’s hard to tuck covers down the sides; dust, dog hair, socks, and crumbs get stuck in crevices; I’m always knocking my shins on the corners; and moving the whole bed in order to clean is nearly impossible. Espevar doesn’t cause me any of these issues. I hope you never discontinue this item. Yes, I’m passionate; it’s that good.5
