My grand baby"s enjoy playingJenniferMy grand baby's enjoy playing with this set.5
Quality itemsHaniI Love all the items I bought. I would go back and get more.5
Four year old uses and loves these.tuillyAre these dishes dishwasher and microwave safe?5
Great Dinnerware!greggcWe bought this for our daughter for play but we love the small size and now use them for coffee time, dessert time and small plates at the breakfast and dinner table.5
Ikea is wrongLizLongThese are not just for children. They are for bagels or donuts (the larger size plates), cookies (the smaller plates), and things like sauce, cottage cheese, or yogurt (the bowls). I have found no others that work as well for these things. Much like LEGO, they are perfect for adults as well.5
Fun, but breakablevandevsrMy daughter received these for Christmas and was so excited! But when we opened them one plate was broken in the package. Our closest store is too far away for a quick swap, so we threw away the broken one and counted our loss. She has a lot of fun with the remaining dishes, but I am always worried another one will break and leave nasty shards somewhere. So far so good. I probably wouldn't buy them again, instead I would look for a tin product. Too bad as I was so excited to find something affordable that wasn't plastic!3
Third Set I"ve BoughtHolly AngellIf I had any more young relatives, I'd buy another. Along with the sets of cups and glasses, they make the perfect child's play dinner set. Quality, size, price all hit the mark for a good buy.5
Love them! Very well madeCindyMLThese are so great for kids! They are well made and kids love them:)5
HappyNancyI bought these items and I don’t have little kids. I actually bought it because I love them as portion control for snacks5
IndestructiblePabgmMy 3 year old loves it. She plays hard with them and they haven't chipped or broke. Best part. Can go in the dish washer5
Great productDesmith32Excellent quality, bought this for my grand daughters and they love it.5
Breakable!TexasMomMy fault for not paying more attention when ordering these but these are awful! They are so cute and the perfect size BUT who makes kids toy plates in breakable material?! We lost three plates in less than 24 hours. I loved that it was a small set and didn't have all the silverware with it (don't need additional clutter) but these are going in the giveaway pile and we are ordering new plastic ones. In just now reading more detail, it says not for children under 8, but IKEA should realize their target age for play kitchens is likely under 8 for a good portion of kids. So a set that is non-breakable to go with their play kitchen would be most ideal. If you're going for looks or quality of product (they're nice and thick!) then great. But if you'd like your child to actually play with it....order something else.1
Great featuresSergioDOk; Is the second time; i brought this item. Good5
I use these for me!MimrobThese make lovely cake plates, work as pretty, small bowls, and even the little plates come in handy to put cut half of tomatoes on.5
Many uses for everything in the set.Owlyx5This is our 3rd set. We use all items constantly ;, for storage, serving, small leftovers, great bowls and plates which can be used as lids.5
perfect size and great weightjjmbI bought these to use for my cats' wet food. I wanted some inexpensive, non-plastic dishes, but they needed to have enough weight to them that my digger cat doesn't knock them over while she eats. These dishes fit the bill perfectly. As a bonus, they look nice and are in great colors, too.5
Lots of FunGran YThese are great for lots of pretend dining. Sturdy enough for real food too.5
Dishes BreakAcissejWe bough this as a Christmas gift for our two year old. We were reassured at the checkout and by IKEA floor staff that these dishes were unbreakable, even though they are ceramic. Two broke in the first 48 hours we had them just from regular play. The Duktig kitchen is great, but I would have purchased another set of play dishes had I know we'd be picking up ceramic shards on Christmas.1
Amazing set!tavo27This little set of pottery will bring you down to play and remember those days as a kid.5
Anonymous reviewerI love buying these for young neices and nephews to have pretend kitchen and tea party and just fun doing things with real dishes instead of plastic.4

Safer play

Children are the most important people in the world. That's why their safety is always our highest priority. By performing risk assessments and adhering to the strictest safety standards, we minimize most known risks. But we're not content stopping there. We also insist that all our toys undergo and pass tough tests. We do all this so you can trust that our play furniture is stable and our toys for babies do not contain small parts, long strings or sharp edges. That we only use safe materials goes without saying.
