NiceJamesOnce I put the first one together the second one was no problem. It is better to build them with 2 people. I figured out a way to build them myself, which is a bit of a problem, but doable ..5

Glass display caseErnestEasy to assemble looks great3
Customer- ChrisChristineFlimsy glass cabinet. Difficult to assemble if you’re over 65. IKEA offers no additional assembly support directly. IKEA refers you to Task Rabbit, who cannot tell you what it will cost for them to assemble it.2
I had my glass shelves for two years. like others for some reason the top shelf just broke and the glass crumble into several little pieces. Does any one know where I can get a replacement glass and the bumpers that go under the glass?Synyan G.it was nice until the glass broke.3
ExplodedEmre Y.Bought a pair of these in late of 2019, nearly three years ago. We were just watching TV and all of a sudden we hear a loud boom followed by glass everywhere: One of the side glass panels just exploded sending tempered glass chunks everywhere. Luckily, nobody was nowhere near it at the time. It's hard to clean all the tiny glass shards. Poorly manufactured tempered glass can spontaneously explode due to small inclusions. I see other people have written reviews about this product exploding.1
BEWARE: Exploding glass!Mar H.We bought seven of these cabinets a few years ago. We thought they would be great to display the husband's small rock collection in his office and my Lego sets in my craft room. All of a sudden last night we heard a loud crash. We ran into the room where the cabinets are and to our surprise, the back of one of cabinets had exploded and glass had flown everywhere. It completely shattered and was still falling to the ground as we stood there in disbelief. There was nothing on top of the cabinet and the items inside on the shelves were in no way heavy. They sat there in the same spot for about two years with no issues. What an absolute mess to clean up too. Glass is still all over my sets as well. Now we're afraid our other cabinets could do the same thing. Thankfully no one was in the room at the time so no one (nor a pet!) was hurt. What a nightmare! Ugh!1
Perfect Display CabinetSheri A.Perfect display cabinet for any collection. Great product and price. Easy to put together with 2 people.5
Great looking, but my shelvesKathee C.Great looking, but my shelves arrived in 1,000’s of pieces. IKEA replaced them without a problem. It really takes 2 people to get everything lined up and tight. It is the perfect size for my collections.5

Good ShowcasenaziaMy 16 years old wanted to display his lego collection so we bought 3 for his room. These are good for show casing or display. Assembly was easily done by 2. Followed the instructions as is. Just be a little careful while setting up the glass over the base.5

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
