HmmmmmMandyPaid $150 for my order to be delivered. Why I couldn't order online & pick up curbside? Who knows. The whole idea to go to ikea was to keep my costs under $200. Buuuuuut that was shot down real fast with the delivery costs. I have built 6 other detolf cabinets. However when I got to my last 2, there were issues. The quality from Ikea has gone down. The glass side panels were cut either too large or the groove in the bottom where the glass slides into was too short. I had to dremmel the groove larger. Then I had to do the same for the top. This was for both of the cases I built. What should have taken no more than 40 mins was 2 hours. The instruction pictures are not great.3
So difficult to buildOliviaI bought this to display my nerdy toys and figures bc this is what everyone buys. One piece was slightly broken and it was just pretty hard to build. It looks good now that it’s built and hopefully it doesn’t shatter. IKEA desperately needs to add written instructions to their manuals. I shouldn’t have to watch YouTube tutorials every time I buy ikea furniture.1
I have several of these.CharisseI have several of these. I put them on casters for ease of moving to other areas. Be patient and you will get it assembled!5
pretty good but...sammiit's pretty good but its too pricey for what it is and every time you open or close it, it shakes - a lot! no matter how careful you are4
Missing parts and damageMinaTheres a missing part and damage when we got this the problem why we cant return this is because we throw the box already..its too shaky1
Love this glass cabinetLATOYAIt was very easy to assemble (although it it is not a one-person job).5
Amazing for the $$SalvadorNice cute glass cabinet!! Works great for my Funko pops!5
Best display cabinetEDWARDThis is the best display cabinet you can buy at IKEA. I now have 3 of these to display my anime figures in and have added lights in two of them. One piece of advice when you assemble it, look at the pictures really carefully. If you do not put on the plastic strip that holds the glass together correctly, the assembly will be hard and take a long time.5
Great for plantsDougEasy to assemble and adds demension to the room and the plants. So good I came back and bought a second unit.5
Indoor Greenhouse CabinetrachelI absolutely adorable my new Detolf greenhouse cabinet! This is actually my second one since I filled the first one so quickly. I recommend joining the ikea greenhouse group on FB if you are interested in doing something similar (:5
DetolfKennyThis is hard to get and it's worth it. Sleek and beautiful. No other glass cabinet compares to the detolf.5
Simple yet ElegantSandraWe were looking for something that would fit and made out collection look amazing. This checked all the boxes.4
Great displayMichaelWell I’m a collector and these work well however, since the price recently went up, I’m not able to purchase the amount I need. I will have to pace myself.5
NiceKaitlinNice and relatively easy to assemble. However it was missing parts, and I've had this issue on multiple occasions.4

Can’t beat it for the priceStephenGreat display case for collectibles. I added LED light on top. Not too difficult to assemble - I did by myself but a helper would make it a bit easier.5

Gorgeous display caseCorinneMy son researched this cabinet to display his figures. He and my older son put it together and I was amazed how beautiful it was.5

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
