⚠️ Looks premium, but the surface is TERRIBLE — stains/marks from a table runner! SoumyabrataI’m a longtime IKEA fan and really wanted to love this table. The design is beautiful, the black finish looks elegant, and the table feels heavy and sturdy. However, the surface quality is extremely disappointing.
I’ve used the table only 2–3 times, mainly when guests visit, and I’ve been very careful with it. It is usually covered with a table runner and four placemats. I never leave water on the surface or place anything very hot directly on it. Despite this, I recently discovered that the table runner and placemats had left marks simply from sitting on the tabletop.
That is unacceptable for a dining table. the finish does not seem durable enough for normal use.
We considered returning it, but dismantling the table and driving nearly 40 miles to IKEA was too inconvenient, so we decided to keep it. Still, I would not recommend this table for everyday use and worry about how the surface will look after a year or two.

Nice table overallErikNice, solid feeling table, easy to assemble, one star off for a sticker which was difficult to remove, and left a sticky residue which is tough to remove from the oak top.
Perfect tableMahaLove love this table, very sturdy, looks beautiful, large but not overwhelming, it's a great size and also a perfect height. the only thing is that the top of the table is super heavy, so that flat piece can be hard to move around, and then when you put the legs on it can be hard to flip it over. At $99 it's a great deal!!! I think this is the epitome of Ikea! Affordable but still nice!

PLEASE READAdelkaThe table top on this table does NOT come sealed. I bought the table yesterday and I already unfortunately set it up other wise, I would have returned this. Please note if you get this table you will have to seal the top to protect the table from water damage or any food stains. Also The side of the table ARE sealed but not the top. I don’t know if they forgot to seal the top. But other reviewers have also commented about the unsealed top surface.
