Material LauraThe material is pretty rough feeling. Not soft and smooth. Got it for my son’s dorm room because he wanted gray but not happy with how scratchy it feels.
Came with permanent stainsKateProduct came with a stain that won’t come out.
Great!!!DeborahIt's just as I expected!! Nice!!!
Scratchy materialSofiaDescribed as soft but it isn't . I am definitely returning it back.
Scratchy materialJasmineThis duvet cover lacks ties to attached to the duvet, and only has snaps at the end to contain the duvet, which makes it hard for it to stay in place. Also, the quality of the material is very scratchy.
ComfyTaylorThis duvet is comfy and semi-soft. Depending on what comforter you use, it feels like a cloud on your body. The color is beautiful as well, looks just like the picture. Easy to put the comforter in and has buttons that snap only on one side so no zipper. Very happy with my purchase!
DuvetCarlaSolid material, although not as soft as expected. Seams are not evenly well sewn. Would prefer having a tie string inside to hold inserts. I did like the snaos
Sizing is off.LeonOrdered the king duvet cover and it’s too large for my duvet and when I did find one to fit it, there is no way to hold the duvet in place so it falls to the bottom.
AvoidAbrylWashed on delicate, started getting loose threads. Poorly made.
Do not buy SarahHorrible! Wish I could return. After washing the fabric is so stiff.
Poor qualityKieraThe color on this duvet cover is beautiful. It’s exactly what I was looking for. However, these are incredibly thin and rough and poorly constructed. The image I’m attaching is me testing this out on my pillows and duvet. The pillows are white, but my duvet insert is gray as you can see this cover is so thin that the gray is pulling through and making the overall appearance very dingy unfortunately, I will be needing to return this.
So pretty!EmilyI got the light pink, which is a very pretty pale dusty rose. I love the texture. Like another reviewer said, it's almost like linen. I use it with a top sheet, so no problem with roughness. The size is perfect -- it's full/queen but actually queen, unlike a lot of full/queen duvets that are actually closer to full size and thus too short for my queen mattress. I got the Senapsmott pillows to fill out the shams and now my bed looks very luxe! Hard to believe the set was just $40!
There are more downsides than upsides; I wouldn't buy it again.TatianaI see a dirty gray color—it looks dusty. In the product photo, it appears to be a fresh blue.
The fabric is stiff, even after washing with fabric softener.
The upside is that it’s breathable, so you don’t get too hot sleeping in it.
Too scratchy to enjoy :(DarinI love the color of this duvet cover and the fact that it is 100% cotton, but it is so scratchy that I can’t enjoy it. Even after washing, it feels like sandpaper. Disappointed that it didn’t work out as my other IKEA duvet covers have been great.
Not whiteFoziaThis is a yellow beige looking duvet. NOT WHITE
Love its cotton but…CadyI loved it was 100% - exactly what I want, but it was so rough that I couldn’t soften it up. Need to return it. Sad 😭
Feels greatStephanieI was unsure of the texture when I felt in store but I thought anything would be better than our situation. We have a non IKEA brand king comforter and it’s rough, washed horribly lint balls everything. We got this duvet cover set to cover the horrible comforter. The duvet set feels good on our skin. This is really for our warm/hot weather season. Also felt like it was cooling and that’s been really pleasant. This was a cost effective solution as King comforters can be pricey. Our comforter isn’t big to fill out this duvet and could be because of years of shrinkage. We will be getting a duvet insert from IKEA in near future since our experience with the duvet cover was great!
Quality MarinelisI love tris duvet cover i recommend and the quality is top 100
Rustic and cozySibylleTerra cotta color and 125 thread count give the fabric a rustic linen like feel. After washing there was no noticeable shrinkage, the fabric felt even softer. There were some wrinkles which didn’t bother me. I am happy about my purchase.
*Best* duvet linerAzaleeI have an ÄNGSLILJA duvet cover on every duvet in my home, being 6. In conjunction with the DVALA pillow cases, they're ideal for keeping my down pillows and duvets extra clean all year, and prevent any show through of the colored piping/logos/etc. on the pillows or duvets themselves. I wash the outer duvet covers and pillowcases weekly, but the solid white ÄNGSLILJA quarterly. Keeps my down in pristine condition so that I only need to launder the duvet itself once per year. Additionally, using two duvet covers instead of a flat sheets on the beds of small children makes it super simple for them to make their beds themselves. I simply don't add a flat sheet until their old enough to fold bed corners well. Duvet stays clean as it's double lined. Ikea is unbeatable for their functional, attractive basics at a great value and ÄNGSLILJA is no exception.
