It melted in the dryerJaidaI was in love when I first got it but the second it made it in the dryer the polyester fluffing melted. Super disappointing and wish it was made of cotton. The color is true to the image atleast.

Do not buyKylieAs many others have said, this turned burnt and crunchy in the dryer after first wash. Tumble dried on low per tag instructions. I’ll be returning this asap. IKEA needs to recall this and give refunds to everyone. This is truly shameful
Burned and ripped in less than 2 weeksKeriReally fluffy and comfortable - but first time I washed it per the instructions- I found burn spots on it. I even dried in the extra low setting for short periods of time and it still burnt. Now I have found a hole right in the middle of the comforter. So extremely disappointing.

Impossible to wash, terrible quality.MasonThe tags and filling inside of the comforter melted the first time I washed it. It came out crunchy it many spots. This comforter is almost impossible to wash in general, as it barely fits in the washing machine AND dryer because of its size.
Comfortable, Cozy, & Well-MadeKaitlynI purchased this set 5 years ago and it’s my absolute favorite of all time. It keeps me very warm during the winter months when paired with my duvet. It’s very comfortable and cozy, and I love the green stripe pattern! It washes and dries just fine too. The cover is made with a percale weave pattern, giving the cotton material a more crisp, matte feel rather than a silky, smooth feel. The material can feel firm when dry, especially without fabric softeners, but it softens naturally with use. The texture is intentional and typical of breathable cotton bedding. If you prefer a smooth, sateen-style bedding, this may not be for you.. but if you love a classic, hotel-style cotton feel, this set is perfect!

burnt & crunchy after 1st wash!!!Lizi loved this comforter… perfect design, feel and warmth. however, upon drying it for the first time it came out with burnt orange spots all over and was very crunchy. not how a normal comforter should turn out. i am extremely disappointed in IKEA for continuing to sell a product with tons of negative reviews all containing the same issue and continuing to fail to improve the quality! save your money and keep looking elsewhere. IKEA’s response to this review will be the same as others, careless, copy and pasted. my comforter is ruined and $90 is gone. shoppers, if you see this don’t end up like the rest of us. i bought mine in store and was unaware of the extremely poor quality of the product and customer service. IKEA however is more than aware of this issue, refuses to improve quality like they say, is okay with taking your money & will not offer their longtime shoppers a replacement (if receipt is unavailable). IKEA, do right by your customers and own up to your wrong doings! shame.
Nice qualityJoanNice, heavy outside material. Insert is quite thick. Should be warm in the winter months. Good color. Pillow shams say standard, but fit king pillows. The only complaint would be the material tends to wrinkle. Great price!

RuinedBriannaIt is a beautiful and good weight comforter, unfortunately it was ruined after the first wash. My college bound daughter was super excited to take this comforter with her, but now it is ruined after washing it! Not sure if IKEA will take it back.

Great comforter and wash went well despite other reviewsRebeccaBought comforter, not reading reviews, brought it home, loved it ! upon that I was reading the reviews as to people were saying that their comforter was ruined after washing. I was kind of nervous upon my first wash of my comforter, but I must say I washed it in cold water And I dried it on a medium hot temperature and my blanket is perfectly fine. There was no burning or crunching of my blanket at all and it’s nice and fluffy. Maybe other people just overdried it on a super high hot temperature but other than that I love my blanket. It’s super Light in the summer and I know it will be great in the winter months. My suggestion is just wash it cold water dry it on a medium heat and every five minutes turn your blanket so it doesn’t roll in a ball in the dryer so it can dry evenly on all sides.
Love this for my bed!MelanieI really like the feel and weight of this, and it’s very comfortable. The only downside is that it takes forever to dry after being washed.
