Horrible experienceThese curtains are gorgeous but very disappointing. The curtains had a very strong odor out of the package so I decided to wash according to instructions listed on tag. Well... the fabric disintegrated in my washing machine leaving piles of cotton chunks and fuzz stuck everywhere down in the crevices of the machine...I hope it did not do internal damage or clog the machine. I spent an hour cleaning the cotton coating from washer and off floor. I've never seen anything like it. Will be returning for sure.

Prepare for your home to be covered in linen fuzzI really wanted linen curtains and was excited for such a reasonable price. The reviews said to wash them first since they would shrink, so we did. We had no idea what we were in for. The washing machine was covered in linen fuzz, the curtains had linen pills all over to the point where they looked awful hanging up, and they dropped the fuzz all over the house. I had to spend spend a significant amount of time brushing the pills off of it, and ended up with linen fuzz all over the room. It's everywhere. Probably could have made another curtain panel out of the fuzz strewn around the house. Not worth the price paid.

Linen day from
Good price, not high end linen by any stretchThese curtains are a good value, and they filter light nicely. When standing outside the windows at night with the curtains drawn, you can see general shapes but not details of the inside room. The linen is real linen, but it is not high end by any stretch. My curtains had some little puckers where the sewing had gotten kind of bunched at one seam, and there were areas where the linen seemed inconsistent in its weaving, like a more loosely woven area that bordered on being like a hole. All signs of cheap manufacturing. I once owned some linen curtains from Pottery Barn and they were truly wonderful linen-- crisp, with an even weave and they filtered as much light as these even though the fabric was more tightly woven. So, basically you are getting what you pay for, and it is a value for 100% linen. But if you want high end fabric, I would look elsewhere.

Beautiful!Love these! Such a great price for such beautiful linen curtains. They are the perfect balance of letting light in but also providing privacy. They are a bit long, but I am going to hem them myself, which should be pretty easy. These are a super great buy, an Ikea gem!

Love the Weight and RichnessThese are lovely linen curtains. They look relaxed and fine, with a casual woven look that's still sophisticated. The weave is loose enough to see out and let in light, but with enough weight to hang nicely. I'm using them as a sheer, with lined curtains in front.
I undid the top hem and resewed them to make them longer. They seem to not be cut evenly, so that made this project a little more challenging than it should have been. If you alter them, remember this is linen, so use a towel between your iron and the fabric or it can take on a sheen. Being linen, these will shrink if you wash them, prob 4 inches or so based on package info. I didn't fit this reason, and I'll just shake them out or vacuum them if they need it.
For the price, they are a great value. I really like the look and feel. I would buy them again.
The curtains lower the general light level and provide privacy by preventing people outside from seeing directly into the room. The curtains can be used on a curtain rod or a curtain track. The heading tape makes it easy for you to create pleats using RIKTIG curtain hooks. You can hang the curtains on a curtain rod through the hidden tabs or with rings and hooks. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/images/products/lejongap-curtains-pair-white__0512833_PE638694_S4.JPGLEJONGAP Curtains, 1 pair, whitehttp://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20374606/203.746.06IKEA$39.99
