It looks great in my living room, lights go through itCarolI have assembled it by myself in under 3 hours, the instruction is well written, not hard to put together.
This cabinet is now sitting in my living room right next to the lamps, and it displays some ship models, etc. I love the lights go through all fours sides and also on the top, which brighten up my living room.

Easy to assemble
Doors do not line up. Avoid GaryAs many other people have mentioned the locking mechanism and doors do not line up. Paid for someone to come a double check it and they stated that I did this correctly. Flaw in design. Now ikea wants me to lug the item all the way back to the store. Wait an hour to return and take my chances that the next one doesn’t have the issue so many others have stated.

Flimsy CabinetDianaWould not recommend as it's extremely flimsy and cheap. The doors does not align properly thus locking mechanism is non-existent. Extremely flawed design. Avoid at all costs.

Finally got this cabinetLauraI had been eyeing this cabinet for a long time, and I finally purchased it when it went on sale. I'm so happy I did! It's a classic piece, beautiful in our dining room, and I love that it holds all the loose trinkets and souvenirs that used to just sit around on tables and bookshelves and collect dust. I would absolutely buy this piece again.

Not impressedTiffanyThe doors don't align properly and do not stay shut even when latched. The tiny magnets on inside of doors only connect the door panels to each other, they don't hold the doors shut to the cabinet.

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
