Great minimalist deskPeriThis is a great desk! Took me maybe 20 minutes to assemble by myself, and I'm not a handy person by any means. Feels very sturdy and looks nice. 4
Legs design change, unfortunatelyRodrigoThey changed how the legs are screwed to the bottom side of the table. You will see the difference if you compare the PDF manual and the photos on the website. Most images and the 360 view are of the previous, more robust version. The manual and one of the photos are from the new one, where they have removed the two bars that kept it from getting flimsy over time. It's a pity that instead of improving the product, they made it worse. A friend of mine has the old one, which is considerably more durable and sturdier.2
Love this deskTaliaIt is just the right size for the work we do and the space. We have 5 desks in the house and 3 of them are this one because it is easy to work at, lightweight, easy to put together, has 3 drawers, has a great top, and looks great in any room because it is neutral in color. Love it.5

Good deskSylviaFairly sturdy desk, not prone to wobbling. I have had it four years and moved it four times, and everything comes apart and goes back together smoothly. I've only had a problem with the drawer knobs, the metal the screw twists into inside the knob came out and I can't secure it back. Wish they sold this knob as a spare part. 4
Cutest little deskLorettaThis desk is so bright and beautiful. It’s pretty compact, so it can fit in so many places of a home. The drawers are pretty tiny, but tbh it helps me not accumulate junk in them. I’ve had mine for about a year and it is still in perfect condition and I’ve not had a problem. I absolutely love everything about this desk and I just think it is so simple and beautiful! Definitely recommend!4
Basic TessalahI would recommend this for a teenager or a college student. The desk in and of itself is extremely basic. Doesn’t take much to put it together. There’s not much to it it’s very cheap.3
Drawers not smooth BonnieI love this desk, except that the drawers don’t have slide rails and make a very scratchy sound. I wonder if piping the sides of the drawers would help?4

Great midsized deskBrianThis is a great desk. It's not too small, but it's not too large. Quality is very good, and I love the drawers. It has a shallow depth, so you can't really fit a full size computing (gaming) setup without much effort. I have a 60% keyboard and it's almost very close to the monitor stand and monitor. I wish the legs supports came in black, though, or at least a silver color. I generally don't like pull knobs that stick out. Loose clothing, straps, and even your may chair may get caught on it and cause some damage. Still it's not a knock against the desk as long as you're careful.5

Problem with veneerKimberlyThis desk is a great size, very cute, very easy to assemble but once I assembled the desk and flipped it over (so it is standing upright), I noticed that the bamboo veneer is lifting on the surface of the desk. This is not damage (packaging without blemish) but a quality issue of the bamboo veneer. I'm super disappointed because IKEA is not close by. Ugh.3

What is bamboo?

Strong, flexible and one of the world's fastest growing plants – bamboo has many uses that make it an excellent renewable material. It’s a type of grass and usually grows without the need for fertilizers or irrigation. After being harvested, it grows new shoots that are ready for harvesting after 4-6 years. At IKEA, we use bamboo for items like furniture, bathroom decor, baskets and lamps – and we are constantly exploring more areas of use for this versatile material.

“A sense of home, more than a sense of office. That was my starting point when I began designing LILLÅSEN desk. The idea is to inspire a creative space anywhere at home, rather than decorating a home office. Angled legs set the design apart from traditional desks and because most of us just need a small laptop to perform our jobs, I also made LILLÅSEN a little bit smaller than a regular desk. Easy to fit in at home – and to feel comfortable at."
