Designer thoughts
When I designed SELJE I wanted to create a nightstand with a bold character and contemporary expression. The clean, straight lines and angular shapes accentuate that. And the small triangular cut-out in the corner is both a handle for the drawer and a design detail that gives SELJE a unique identity. There’s plenty of room in the drawer for a book, your eyeglasses and phone charger – and the charger cord you can run behind the drawer to the wall outlet. No messy cords around your bed! It’s also really easy to assemble – there aren’t even any screws.
