Designer thoughts
My idea with REIDAR was to make a chair that you can use in many different situations and that you will like having in your home for a long time. The reason the chair has such a strong identity is that it's made completely from aluminum. The material also means that it works as well outdoors as indoors, and that it's easy to recycle. Another advantage with REIDAR is that it's stackable - if you need a dance floor or want to be prepared for many guests.
