"One of the most distinctive things about OMVÄXLANDE tray is the stamp or seal in the middle. I think it makes perfect sense to have the text ÄLMHULT SMÅLAND on the tray because it’s the heart of IKEA, the place where the company was founded and where all products are still designed and developed. Both the stamp and the tray are inspired by early industrial design. A funny detail is the pattern around the tray made up of hex keys."
