Fits kallax & expedit!NicoleI was looking for versatile storage that fits kallax and could double as a sink for wet studio items (like paint, glaze & clay!)…I was over the moon that this was easy to clean up, watertight and was a sleek fit with kallax. The price point for this much function is unbeatable. I could see this used so many different storage or sorting needs. I would love it even more if ikea could design something similar with a smooth interior and a lid option. 5

SUPER DURABLELauraOnly reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is because they're a touch on the heavy side, so once they're full they're quite heavy, but man, they are strong! I use them for my kids toys, and they've been tossed around and dropped and flipped and they're still in perfect condition! 4

What is PET plastic?

PET plastic is perhaps best known for its use in beverage bottles, yet suits a lot of food and beverage packaging since it’s approved for food contact. Like other plastics, PET is largely made from oil-based raw materials, but today there are even better opportunities to use both renewable raw materials, like corn and sugar cane, and to recycle the plastic several times. At IKEA, recycled PET becomes many things – from storage boxes to soft filling in pillows and quilts.
